5Strange pharmacy name using details they shouldn't know, asking for refills that didn't exist
Came up on caller ID as "Employment Development Department", which is a part of the California state government, despite this being an Arizona area code. The caller said they were from CVS Specialty. All previous calls from CVS Specialty came up as "CVS Specialty". She was kind at first until I asked why she was immediately asking for my date of birth without mentioning at all what she was calling about. She got frustrated and said she needed financial information from me. I've been using CVS Specialty for 11 months and never before have they called asking for financial info, or my Date of Birth. Very suspicious. Calls from CVS Specialty come up as CVS Specialty.
Said they had a prescription for me from a provider I actually do see. Made o since they even knew the medication be wanted to put me on said they got the request on 7/7/2025. So weird I have no idea I don't even use CVs pharmacy. They had info they shouldn't have though.
Continuous calls at least 4 times a day. Block this number and save your time! Was a false prescription call.
