Limited information: Multiple reports of unsolicited calls, primarily related to life insurance. Callers often claim to be from an 'independent review' company, sometimes providing a generic website or a parent company name 'Independent Review PM'. Many users report the callers knew their name, and in some cases, an old address. The calls are frequently described as persistent, with some callers hanging up when questioned about their legitimacy or data sources. A few reports mention a foreign (possibly Indian) accent and background noise suggestive of an overseas call center.

25Answered. Claimed to be something to do with life insurance and consumer panel. I hung up.
annoying and constant calls despite telling them i don't need more life insurance
Apparently from 'Independent Review Company' - he had my maiden name only used for a handful of online purchases. Hung up on me when I asked how he got my name.
Person said that they were from Insurance Review Department and wanted to review my insurance to see if I had the best one. She did not say which insurance. You could see it was a scam call as soon as they said "Insurance Review Department". Gave her a few words and hung up + blocked number.
El número 0115-8712368 ha sido asignado a Independent Review PM
Telemarketer called and tried to sound like an independent insurance reviewer who wanted to make sure my life insurance doesn't lapse due to new legislation. I tried to explicitly ask if they were a government body or private organisation and instead of giving me a clear answer, he proceeded to say they are not trying to sell me anything and they work with all insurers and asked whether i had life insurance. I asked for their website and was given http://www.searchlive.com/ - basic webpage clearly spam
Claimed to be from an "independent review team" offering me "options for your life insurance". (In fact I have no life insurance!) I asked where they got my data from, they refused to answer except to falsely claim I had "opted in". Then they hung up. AVOID.
At least three more calls to my mobile this last fortnight (between 19 and 30 March) all of which were intentionall unanswered.
Called at 17.56 Thursday 30th March 2023 I didn’t answer it
Insurance scam call Knew my name and an old address, asked me to review my life insurance policy. Hung up, but be weary it seemed like vishing.
Caller phoned (knew my name) and told me that I need to conduct an independent review into my life insurance because it is not working for me. Suggested that I did not want to review, and pushed for lots of personal information that I did not provide. Avoid answering if at all possible.

01158712368 called me, asked if i was Mis___. asked me: if i have life insurance, for who, what kind of insurance, how much monthly do i put in insurance, when does my insurance cut end (end of life or retirement), what the total benefit will it be, i hung up cause it's a lot of questions that you rarely get asked. what I got: Their parent company name: "Independent Review PM" i asked what's it for: "we call annually to check info for governmental usage" i asked why they didn't call me last year then, she said "i don't know why we didn't call you last year, but your details popped up that you have not given your details so i am giving you a call. so what kind of insurance do you have?" she was VERY demanding to get info out of me. do not pickup their call or give them the correct answers.
Couldn't really understand caller because of foreign accent. Seemed to be an unsolicited sales call, perhaps life assurance.
Life insurance, not sure if they are registered, or whether the policies are legitimate or not.
Calling about life insurance offers.
16ish in the afternoon, life insurance yearly review of some sh17. Phone flags are potential fraud. The lady on the phone was very persistent with Indian accent. Wasn't happy when I swore back, getting tired of blocking these numbers on daily basis.
Indian sounding female with lots of outside sounding background noise. Asked for me by name. I asked why was she calling and she said something about insurance. I asked her to remove my details from her system and not to call me again. She agreed. I blocked the number.
No one talks
Called at 16:30, phone listed as potential scam, didn't answer.
Call to my mobile, unanswered - no message left.
27/2/23: They called asking about our life insurance, I asked who the company was three times and they avoided to answer, saying they were from a validation department. All the time in the background it sounded you could hear heavy traffic and people as if they were outside a cafe on some third country high street. When pushed for the company name they hung up.
another call to my raely used mobile at 12:51 on Sat 25 Fby 23 - not answered as not recognised as 'friendly' This and similar numbers from same are code (Nottingham ?) have pestered me for several days and have been reported.
