had a call for my director, asked who was call and told Mrs Anderson, CFS Group. Said she was unavailable, could I help/ask what it was about. She said a financial matter regarding *company name*. The rudely said, get her to call Mrs Anderson...didn't give me the number Shame :) Lets see if she calls back

Natalie @ CFS (accent of african origin) called asking to speak to my Director, and said it was regarding financial matter- obviously fielded the call as she wouldnt give anymore info. Would echo what all the other comments say, and give a VERY wide berth!

Called three days in a row. Asked for company director by name, who happened to be the person who'd answered the call. Then asked if the company has any dept with HMRC and about cash flow. Director stated that cash flow was fine and politely ended the call. Felt untrustworthy. Possibly looking to offer loans etc.

01212011739 keeps calling for our MD and stating it is to do with a financial matter and also mentioned HMRC, got shirty when I said this was a scam of some sort and she said she would find another way of contacting him then slammed phone down as I wouldnt put her through

Since January this number has called us at least 3 times a day 2 or 3 times a week. on last occasion demanded to speak to the MD and asked for him by name. Asked what the call was regarding and was told "Financial matter" Wouldn't give me company name or his name, so hung up on them. Number now blocked.

Keeps asking for the CFO by name but is not specific as to nature of the call - merely financial matter. Also knows the name of Company Secretary (again public knowledge) and says she has spoken to him. Quite aggressive and keeps calling asking to speak to the CFO.

Same as everyone else. A very rude Mr McPherson with South African accent asked to speak to our MD (he knew his name) about a financial matter. Refused to give me more info and got annoyed when I tried to question him futher.

Man with SA accent called saying he was from HMRC and on another occasion that he was from CFS. Was looking to speak to a director regarding a financial matter and wouldn't reveal any more details. Said he spoke to a director the previous week (he hadn't) and said I must be annoyed with him because of problems we were having with HMRC (he said this on the occasion he said he was calling from CFS). He backed off and said he would call the director he spoke with directly.

gent called mcpherson financial matter for MD. We previously downloaded the ultimate prank soundboard of google play. a variety of sounds quick fart, burping, hair clipper. these kept Mr Mcpherson entertained as he waited to speak to the boss on hold. we have almost refined this playing hold music and fart sounds its almost an artform. fun for those tricky calls

Had 2 phone call this wk from this man asking to talk to one of our directors by name. Wouldn't divulge info to me until I said I dealt with all financial matters, started asking if we are in debt with HMRC or any suppliers, which of course we are not, was rude and very cagey, tried calling the number back and goes conveniently to a voice mail!

Blue Arrow - Indian call centre staff wanting CEO, asking for by name, more than willing to interrupt important meetings to sell their wares (debt management for businesses apparently)! Multiple calls this week alone. Also using the number 01212011793 I suggest you hang up straight away!

We have received several calls a day for over 6 months from this company, also calling themselves Link Business. Luke Taylor (although annoying/overly persistent) is quite pleasant - we even refer to him as Luke nowadays. His colleague Amy White is rude and evasive, when I questioned her about harassment calls (and even pointed her to this lovely website) she told me it was all untrue and made false financial statements about our business. BEWARE OF THESE SCAMMERS

A Mr Barclay (possible South African accent) calls from CFS regularly asking to speak to the CEO or me (Financial Controller)regarding cash flow issues. Despite the fact I have told him several times on several occasions that we don't have that problem, he keeps calling and asking the same thing. Very pushy and very bogus so I've just told them to take our number off their list and to not call again and hung up. Waste of time!

Had a phone call from South African Accented guy who "must speak to Helen regarding a serious financial matter" I said I can pass on the message. He replied "why would I leave a message I have to keep repeating myself when I do" Number taken but WILL not be phoning back. Have alerted everyone to this potential PHISHING SCAM

AMY (WITH SOUTH AFRICAN ACCENT) CALLED ASKING TO SPEAK TO DIRECTOR. WHEN I TOLD HER HE WOULDNT BE INTERESTED IN SPEAKING TO HER AS WERE ON TPS SHE SAID "OH REALLY, HE WOULDNT BE INTERESTED IN SAVING MONEY AND YOUVE MADE THAT DECISION?" I THEN JUST HUNG UP ON HER.

Stephanie Jackson has called several times asking to speak to a partner by name. She says it's regarding a financial matter but will not say any more. I have now told her to please stop as the partner is not interested in anything CFS has to offer as we had checked them out on the internet. She was a bit taken aback but hopefully neither she or CFS will call back again.

same thing but slight difference in number but to same area in Birmingham. 0121 2011784 Asks for Directors by name and that they have spoken before, when told no mobiles are given out I questioned for more information. "You can ask any question" male African sounding. Its about hmrc and vat, when I said that I dealt with that and it was all fine he hung up.
