Called asking if I wanted to continue or cancel my Amazon Prime. Said I'd never set up Amazon Prime and he immediately hung up on me
Caller claimed to be from Open Reach on behalf of Virgin, BT and basically all internet providers and said internet was going to be taken down in next 24 hours because of suspiscious activity. Did not hang around for more drivel. He called back 3 times until I blocked the number.
Tried to tell me he was from Amazon and that I had ordered an iPhone - difficult if I don't have an account with them!
Two silent calls within 10 minutes. Number recognised as a spoof known to be used by wog con gang. DON'T RESPOND - HANG UP IMMEDIATELY ! ! ! !
Called twice today - automated - claiming they'd detected illegal internet activity. Obvious scam so hung up and blocked.
Get this Fud calling and his pal Mohammed.Initially they requested my Whats ap "because I have a wery nice woice"... I just leave the phone on. Educate them on Prime Ministers Questions, just whatever is on tv. hahah. Waste my time you aint.
This number is calling to take control of your phone. By the time you talking with them, they sending script to your phone. They can take control of your facebook, emails, ID, ebay etc. Basically numbers of hacking issues
Now the use the Nummber for People in Germany "You have win Money..please call me back..bullshit". Jetzt rufen sie Leute in Deutschand an. Mit "Sie haben Geld gewonnen ihre untenlagen sind bei mir Kanzlei so und so. bitte rufen sie mich zurück.alles Schwachsinn.
Caller hung up without spaeking, ?? Spam
When I answered no-one spoke but it sounded like there was someone there, very strange
See if I were setting up a scam fake company I'd at least get people who could speak English if they were calling UK based numbers! Apparently my PC is broken and they aare Microsoft wanting to fix it free. Odd seen as I only have a MAC !!
Silent call - usual, undoubtably foreign scammer - pity we couldn't get his co-ordinates and call in a drone strike for him and his family !
As I always do with these numbers which effectively stops them dead, be polite, answer as if you are a big multi national company and try to sell them something. They can't deal with businesses, even had one apologise and say I'll not be called again.

Some moron telling me my computer has a problem. Strange as it is away being repaired The number now resides in my blocked list.
Me llamaron de este num y atendi y no contestan
How do they get a UK number of appear?
DODGEY
Seems to be some jerk with an Eastern accent trying to make money on fake accident claim scam. Twice asked "where did you get my number?" (it's ex-directory ...) - then he just hung up. Seems to be the kind of low-life that needs to: 1. Get a proper job; 2. Learn some manners.
"Your PC is broken, can we have your passwords to fix it?" That one.
First thing, the STD for Bedford is correct, 01234, but surely by continuing in numerical order would be the the most desired number in the UK? Big banks, airlines, the BBC, or Government would have paid hundreds of thousands for this number? It could be an alternative number for treble nine. DONT trust this number
Dice llamar desde USA
fed up of this tosser constantly calling it was about 1630 on 22/12/14 and had at least 2 very day for last fortnight. It's about time the governments got all calls traced and hang the these thieving baskets. Had my bank account attacked a couple of weeks ago probably from a similar hacking event. Shouldn't have numbers you can't trace.
Constant calls every day no one on line when I answer
usual indian sounding person calls, wanting you to fire up your computer and download their "fixes"
Have rung me several times in the past few weeks. I never answer unknown numbers. They left a voicemail message for the first time today and claimed to be working for a credit card company chasing debts and that the consequences would be 'very serious' if I 'actively ignored' their attempts to contact me.
Asian person calls me almost every day from this number - when I ask what they want they either go off on a tangent to something completely random or hang up. Getting really annoying now. Is there anything one can do about this?
My aunt got talking to this person, I was in the other room listening in. He got cut off and called back repeatedly about 2 or 3 times. I said to give me the phone so I could talk to them. Ended up chatting to the Indian who claimed to be called Orlando but after asking for his real full name (that I still don't believe) Mr Shams Dabrez from perfect preference started on asking / continuing the questions he had begun with my aunt. We went from talking quite truthfully to getting short and silly answers. Whãt is the name of the washing machine brand you have? Well I can't afford a washing machine thanks, I do all my washing by hand in the bath. In fact I can't remember what I said to him as it was extreme quick fire questions and stupid answers... Argh these companies suck!!
these scammers call two or three times a day, sometimes the phone is silent when I press answer other times an Indian Pakistani sounding clown with an English sounding name talks some crap, when asked who he is he hangs up, my number is and has always been ex directory, and I have registered with the telephone preference service(which is a complete waste of time). any advice would be appreciated.
This caller rings everyday 3 to 5 times today 20/9/14 rang at 6am on a saturday i will not answer the the phone now
just received three calls in a row from these scammers. If I have time I like to keep them hanging on for as long as possible but tonight I am busy - it is so annoying (they know my name and address - where do they get their info)
He had an obvious Indian accent and the call sounded as is it came from abroad but his name was Steven Foster - seriously? He told me an old email address of mine had been used to scam people. Gave me the name of the hacker and described the scam. He got me to type 'netstat' and 'tracert mycomputer.com' in the command prompt in order to look for Foreign locations (hackers) that were piggy-backing on my internet connection and seeing everything on my computer. Then he told me that any foreign locations listed which had a level over 10 could not be got rid of by me and I had to connect to his server. So I asked him to call me back in 20 minutes so I could check him out. He got really pushy so I said that made me more suspicious. The thing is I really believed him until it came to giving him control of my computer and I reckon a lot of people are going to fall for this scam.
