Cold called elderly parents to offer replacement glass. They changed their minds overnight and cancelled but after numerous phone calls to ask for their deposit to be returned there is no chance of getting it after looking at many others reviews

Spoke to the call guy - free assessment. Will give quote for windows but will not put pressure on to buy. Two phone calls - one confirming visit. After calls, googled the company. Lots of very negative reviews of loss of deposits. Looked at both duedil and companies house and both state they have been ordered to wind up and they are in liquidation. Shouldn't even be calling clients - why have they not been stopped? This is the 3rd glass company owned by Mr Uddal (all for a short period) the sole director. They need to be stopped.

This company, Known variously as 'ENERGIGLASS' or 'ENERGY CARE CENTRE' is a known, long term, offender in the field of 'Cold Calling' scams. They claim to carry out an energy survey 'In Your Area' but will then try to con their victim into buying replacement windows they neither want nor need. A major menace, especially to elderly and vulnerable people. Interesting to note they are showing up on company information sites as 'Liquidation' status and as not having filed any returns last year. Extremely risky outfit to place an order with, chances of them taking a deposit - very high, chances of completing the order - virtually zero. They are well known to both ICO and TPS, but it does no harm to reegister a complaint with both if you get a cold call from them.

Arranged windows via this company. No windows turned up and I am still trying to get my 380 pound deposit back after over 3 months. Company search shows the company is DISSOLVED and now under a new name Energy Saving Centre. Danyal UDDIN is the boss who will not speak to me and gets his manager to put me off. I call this theft, and anyone who can help me get an address I would be most grateful.
