Argy Ell 11 Mar 2016 Below is all the information you need to report this company, at https://complaints.tpsonline.org.uk/consumer I received a cold call from 0141 280 0071 claiming to be Energy Saving Scotland, despite having been registered with TPS for many years. They asked questions about my personal circumstances, bills and boiler. They told me that they had selected me to receive a replacement boiler and asked to send an assessor round. I was able to discover that the calls originate from a company called Boiler Genie, director Andrew Stock, of Newton Mearns, GLASGOW, G77 6TZ, mobile 07545899599. The agent told me that their calls are screened against TPS every 24 hours and he couldn't understand why this one had got through. He agreed that their screening wasn't effective. I've received several calls from this number recently and like others have been registered with TPS for years. When the call is answered no-one speaks and I've just hung up.

Called to speak to someone else. Told him no-one of that name ever lived here, and I considered his call to be a nuisance call. He then had the audacity to try a sales pitch! Slammed receiver down. Tried to return call to make a complaint, but constantly engaged. Www says company is bogus, so beware!
