13This number called three times today. I think the same number called in the past. Some reports claim this is a scam number, some say genuine. Wondering if it's a bit of both; a third party doing Scottish Powers dirty work. Lets Scottish Power pretend they have clean hands. Will never agree to smart meter no matter what. It will take a court order.
DO NOT ANSWER THIS NUMBER. AND DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY DETAILS. It is NOT Scottish Power. The number is spoofed and cloned to make it look like an actual Scottish Power number is calling you, but IT IS NOT them. It is scammers. Scottish Power do not ask for all the details the scammers ask anyone who answers an incoming call to them. If you want a smart meter installed or wish to enquire about a smart meter, call Scottish Power yourself. DO NOT DEAL WITH ANY INCOMING CALLS TO YOU FROM THIS NUMBER.
I am getting a daily calls for the past week with a similar number 0141 310 2041. I highly suspect it to be scottish power as its not the first time they tried pushing smart meters on me.
This number called numerous times over the last month. In my opinion, the frequency suggests a scammer rather than a genuine marketing call. My 'call guardian' system stopped all of the calls so I only discovered them when I looked at the call log.
Scam, probaly phishing. But she somehow knew both my land line and mobile number, and that I had ordered a smart meter after failure of my current one...Became clear that they didnt know I had already been given appointment or actually who I was. Unfortunately I stupidly "confirmed" name, address and DOB before realising and hung up. It seems to me that someone in Scottish Power or their dreadful third part companies is selling info.
Scottish Power spam fue reportado como Publicidad agresiva con el número 0141-3103245
Had several calls from this number, shows as being from Scottish Power "smart meter confirmation", haven't answered as do not want a smart meter, number now blocked, even if you want a smart meter better to contact the actual company directly, I suspect these calls are not SP.
Reported, evidently not Scottish Power
claimed to be Scottish power arranging a smart meter. was aggressive and pushy so i hung up. they called again 4 hours later and i did not pick up
Comes up as Scottish power , call regarding a smart meter that I didn't want or ask for . This number has called 9 times over 3 days ! I phoned Scottish power and it is NOT them . Going to report this number . I would not give any details although they told me they could tell me my account number and dob or postcode, I told them if they know this then they know who I am and I am not giving you information.
Calling me about switching to a smart meter that they supply.
A guy wanted to book an appointment to see about switching to a smart meter. I wasn't interested.
Since yesterday I had 3 missed calls from Glasgow. Sales call?
