My credit card was compromised via phishing email 27th May 2022. Received call from ‘Tesco Fraud’ 0345 366 1281 that night, asking for details re: spurious purchases. Refused to give info. 2nd call +44 345 266 1281 received from ‘Tesco Fraud Dept’. VERY convincing! Gave some info but not all. Immediately called Tesco Bank via tesco.com to be told BOTH above numbers were scammers. Tesco promised return call today (which I received from 0141 537 4000 - Craig in Glasgow) to update me on progress. Immediately called Tesco Bank Fraud again, who confirmed that 0141 537 4000 IS a GENUINE TESCO BANK FRAUD DEPT. NUMBER

I phoned Tesco Home Insurance earlier in the day to notify them of building work, they phoned back from this number later in the day to confirm additional details, and they updated my policy documents.

Received a call, woman said she was from Tesco and wanted personal information. After stating i wouldn’t provide personal information to an unsolicited unidentifiable caller, she became rude and said “well i won’t go any further without you giving it!” and hung up! Very rude, so clearly a scammer. Watch out!

Knew my name, wanted the numbers from the back of the card and password details. Kept an open line when I tried to call Tesco's myself so they could pretend to be them when I thought I had phoned them directly, so said down the phone that I was going to use a different phone to call them instead and the person then hung up. Called Tescos number on the back of the card who then confirmed this was a fraud call.

Pretended to be from Tesco Bank calling about fraud on my account. There has been genuine fraud on my account very recently and the is account is already blocked, so this wasn't possible. Plus any genuine Tesco staff must give me a password before I will talk to them. She pushed me to answer security questions and give her my personal details but refused to give me the password I asked for. Then hung up on me when she realised that she wasn't going to get the info out of me. Very convincing otherwise and it looks like people are falling for it here, or the scammers themselves are leaving answers to muddy the waters.

Got a call to say someone tried to take money from. Account to pay booking.com they said they cancelled it, I called Tesco fraud team afterwards to clarify they said it was phishing and no activity had taken place, and the call was not from them

Call name shown on my mobile screen as 'Tesco Credit Card' 0141 537 4000 Asked is that (my name) I always answer 'Speaking' an d never say the word 'Yes' incase they record the chat anbd then reword stuff with me agreeing to things. The mentioned it was urgent about a direct debit and they needed to access my account and I was to answer some security questions. I said they need to send me a letter and they said they would and put the phone down. I phoned a Tesco number I trust and they had no record of a direct debit nor anyone calling me which the lady said it would show from any department if they had. I wonder if the people above might be soem of the Phising people say to trust this number so people will answer quesions. For me I haven't used my credit card in over 4 months which the lady also confirmed. I would certainly never answer any questions there and then bu8t phone a number you do know.

missed the call, called back to hear voicemail advising Tesco Bank tried to get in touch and that it wasn't urgent, they'll try again later. I was just off the phone with them 20 minutes prior discussing an application for a current account.
