In my previous post I reported this number 01422861783 as a hoax. I must apologies to Adil Quddues as his call was legitimate. He was acting as a 3rd party on behalf of Lloyds/Halifax in relation to a rebate for inappropriate feature charges on an account. I would not accept an incoming call from a bank so he followed up with a legitimate letter from Lloyds. If they had sent a letter in the first instance it would have been much easier to accept in confidence.

Text addressed to wife and I regarding a complaint made by a 3rd party. Text provided this phone number and advised Adil Quddues would be calling me, which he did promptly. Adil pushed hard to obtain Full name, DOB & Address. I ended the call. Do not trust this number.

I have an ongoing complaint with Lloyds Bank going back 7 years, and Tom from Lloyds Bank Back Office Complaints just rang me from this number and ITS GENUINE! People are saying this number is a scam, but that is NOT true! He was dealing with my complaint professionally and knew stuff that eh would not be able to know if he was a scammer! This number is definitely Lloyds Bank Complaints Dept.

Firstly received 2 texts from 'lloyds' and 'bank of scotland' saying they were going to contact me. Rang me on mobile some time later, asked to speak to a MRS blank when I am Miss blank. Asked if it was a convenient time and then asked address date of birth to confirm it was the right person. I don't bank with Lloyds.

Received call at 20:38 he did not give his name just said he was from Lloyds Bank regarding a recent enquiry I made, I don’t even Bank with Lloyds anymore. He went on to ask can I spare him sometime? I told him no and this sounded like a scam to me then ended the call One other point he did not sound very professional

I have received messages on my answerphone from this man saying he was from the Halifax Ban,and that I had supposedly made a complaint about something on my account, that he needed more details to sort it out. He also sent me text messages to get in touch, when I did not respond. I have not made a complaint, I always go to my local Halifax Bank if I need to talk about anything. These people should be stopped. I am a pensioner, and I feel that some pensioners may panic and respond to this scam.

This Number Belongs to Lloyds banking group, i was Sceptical to start with but rang my bank (Lloyds) to confirm the persons name and he IS part of Lloyds Group Customer Services.

This person contacted me on a withheld number pretending to be Halifax left me a message saying it was Halifax customer services and I'd made a recent enquiry which I have not. left this number and a extention number of 15687137. There is no such number associated with Halifax customer services obviously after my bank details.
