Repeated nuisance calls since I changed from BT
This number is BT retentions and they call you when you are leaving BT to try and retain your business.
I received a call from this number claiming to be from StepChange, supposedly partnering with BT. Suspicious of the legitimacy, I contacted BT directly, and they confirmed that they do not share customer information with StepChange. Turns out, it was a scam.
Since yesterday I had 5 missed calls from Stevenage. Not sure how he got my work number. No idea.
I received four calls in as many days from 01438382072. Luckily, BT has now blocked them as nuisance calls. I answered the first one, and the caller claimed to be from BT, though I knew right away they weren’t. I hung up immediately. It's definitely a scam.
