10This definitely a Humberside Police Number
This is definitely a Humberside Police Number
Had a call from this number, identified itself as Humberside Police to my call barring service but then cut off when I tried to answer. Line went dead when tried to recall. Called police, they had no record of anyone trying to ring my number nor did they recognise this 56677 number. Suspicious, also nasty if it is a scam, as I am now worried about whether or not the police are trying to contact me for genuine reasons. With an elderly mother across town and a husband out driving, my thoughts went into overdrive thinking the worst until I had contacted them. Nasty, or genuine?
Missed call, but local number. Rang it back and the line went dead. I wouldn't normally think anything of it, but in this case I had spoken to 101 earlier in the day.
Caller knew who to ask for and address. Tried to call back but line just went dead. Said they were from police so I called the police and they said the number doesn't exist / is not a police number!
This number is Humberside police command centre
Gone 10 pm & knew my name but I didn't even speak & hung up
Had a spoof call from this phone number gone midnight
It was a missed call. But when you try to ring it back you just get a blank tone - as if the number doesn't exist. Which, in itself seems suspicious.
These people hacked in to my home phone, intercepted my mobile number, hacked in to my voice mail and came to my house pretending to be coppers.
