59Called after we closed. so they got to talk to the answering machine
El número 01494-688485 fue calificado con score 5
wanted to know about my bin collections .. i hungup..
Future Thinking fue reportado como Sondeo de opinión con el número 01494-688485
keeps calling on an hourly basis
El número 01494-688485 fue calificado con score 9
keep calling even though we are clearly not interested
Keep calling several times a day and when I pick up the phone they ring off.
Have called on and off for a while now; never leave a message (and I never answer), so I don't know who they are or what they want. But I figure any legitimate caller would at least say something. Sounds like just another PITA nuisance cold-callermatron.
claimed to be from Serco carrying out survey on council waste collection - didn't listen to any of my answers, kept talking over me, then muted the call so I rang off
Have called me every other day for nearing two weeks, because i dont know the number I don't answer. They left a 27 second voicemail of nothing. I have now blocked their number after reading the reviews on here.
Asked for me by name, but when I asked who was calling he flatly refused to tell me unless I would tell him that I was that person. I kept him tied up on the phone for as long as I could - he eventually said that he was from Future Thinking and that it was a survey. I started asking him the way he was asking me and he said "Well we're just going to go around in circles then." There's absolutely no reason a company should teach their employees to refuse to give their company name and why they're calling when asked by the person answering the phone. Either he's misinterpreting their training (or they don't give any) or they're teaching their staff the wrong thing. If you call me unsolicited and ask me personal information then you need to me who I'm giving my details to before I'll give anything out! A) it's common courtesy B) it's a big security no-no to give your personal details to strangers for no known reason.
Another survey call asking for a company director
Whilst from other posts it may appear to be harmless survey company I have received five silent calls from this number. Callers who decline to identify themselves to my call guardian (a reasonable expectation) get treated as a silent call. I have now blocked this number on the basis of a failure to reasonably identify themselves leading to a silent call.
An asian chap rang claiming he was doing survey for tfl and wanted to speak to youngest member of household. When asked how he got my ex directory number he said he got it from the electoral roll. Lies lies. Do not bother with this number.
A genuine call (I think) on behalf of British Gas Business to my business phone number. They asked for me by name and although it went on longer than advised I didn't need to divulge any confidential information. British Gas aren't my favourite company so they might not like my answers !
Called our company asking for the branch manager to carry out a survey on energy contracts & customer satisfaction. Told him it's all decided through head office so our branch manager wouldn't deal with it. He then asked if he could call back at a more convenient time, (obviously didn't listen to a word i'd just told him!) at which point i told him no he couldn't call back at a more convenient time, no thank you & hung up on him. Logged him on our nuisance call list to be blocked by our telecoms company
who the hell are they????
Called and said they were conducting a survey as a part of TfL. Very strange sounding man asked to speak to the youngest in the household and asked when his birthday was. Told to not call again and hung up. Bizarre and creepy, especially close to the holidays when they know children will be home from school.
rang lots they need to give it a rest
had a call from this number claiming to be calling on behalf of my local council they were calling regarding my refuse collection in my area, however she didnt even know my postcode so i questioned her asked her for her name and company she stsatered stuttering so i told her her call was utter ballshit and im reporting it .
7.45 pm on a Monday night..Rang claiming to be conducting a 15 mins survey for that terrible company SERCO. The interviewer who managed to be both rude and vacuous put the phone down on me when I questioned how they had my number. These clowns are hosted by the High Wycombe branch of : http://futurethinking.com/ This page gives the CEO's telephone number: ring him up and ask if he wants to take part in a 15 mins survey: http://futurethinking.com/about-us/our-team/
DONT ANSWER They pretended that they were from transport for london, they wanted to talk to the youngest member of the household and find out where they feelt safe or not when travelling. Alarm bells rang because no person can call to talk to your children and ask questions like that. I Informed the police and fraud department. Please report if you get a call.
Rang twice today and stopped before I got to the phone. Pests.
Whoever they were, they couldn't bring themselves to speak to my answering machine. The fact that I am registered with TPS and they shouldn't be calling me in the first place seems to be beside the point. Needless to say all callers only get my answering machine unless they introduce themselves first.
Annoying caller claiming to be calling for a follow up call requesting to speak to someone in charge of the energy contract as they are doing a survey - told to go away!
Called claiming to be from British Gas asking about an account I had recently opened. Given that I wouldn't go anywhere near British Gas with a bargepole, let alone open an account with them, this wasn't an accurate question!! I informed them of this fact and they went away. Not convinced they won't phone again.
Calls every single day, sometimes gone 9pm waking my baby up. Don't know why I bother going ex directory, the amount of spam calls I get is ridiculous.
Called (apparently randomly) conducting a TfL survey. Very polite, very willing to answer questions without evasion. Offered to just go away and and happy to accept refused answers.
vague, harassing, hung up. Don't know who?
The company is called Future Thinking and they phoned me because I had had a major issue with my water company and the Consumer Council for Water had pursued it on my behalf and done an excellent job. And Future Thinking were simply phoning to find out what I thought about the job that CC Waterhad done, so it was a legitimate survey call and I was happy to oblige.
They claimed to be calling from Transport for London, then asked to talk to the adult with the first birthday (which was my husband who was just leaving) and refused to talk to the remaining adult (myself) when I offered to help. It sounded like they were targeting specific people within the household and had further data on us.
Just left a 3 second message, unintelligible (apart from an English accent).
Harassment caller
Before I got a chance to say anything they said wrong number. Obviously checking to see if its a real number.
unsolicited call form database. Irrelavant and time wasting
Claimed to be working with BT conducting a survey. I told them I wasn't interested and have received five or six calls everyday since. The last call I answered I told them "what part of I'm not interested don't you understand?" To which I received the reply "I don't understand bulls***". If that doesn't illustrate they are not a reputable company, I don't know what does.
They said they were calling from Transport for London but when I queried this they admitted they weren't. They wanted to speak to one of my children and then when I kept asking why they hung up. Horrible and very worrying that they were targeting a child.
This mutton head called me on Sunday:(((((((((((((((((((((((((
Rang until answered by answering machine, no message left.
keeps ringing
Called me to say they were conducting survey. Asked them how they got my EX Directory Telephone preference number. Told me they randomly dialed numbers in my local area code. Told them politely where to go as maybe I don't want to be disturbed!!
Caller said he called the wrong number but did not seem to be surprised, rather like he knew he would say that. My suspicion is that he is checking if telephone numbers are in use.
Had two calls from this recently. Always silent when answered.
Phoned at 9 on Fri evening claiming to be Transport for London survey. Didn't sound credible.
Dead line on answer
9pm on a friday night ! byeeeee
Very persistent if they don't get a response. Try to call at all times of the day, evening and weekends. Either block the number, or answer to get rid of them. If you don't the phone will keep ringing. I have a truecall unit (from www truecall. co uk) so these harrassers simply get a messsage not to call again. Shouldnt have to pay money to stop these calls though in my opinion.
put the phone down when I answered. I was disturbed by this as I was in the middle of several things all of which I had to stop to answer the phone just to have the phone put down on me - TPS should also be for surveys, it is surely obvious if we don't want cold callers about double glazing etc. we also do not want to take part in cold calling re surveys.
Only just got connected, surprise, surprise, I had to call EDF Electricity and now I'm getting nuisance calls. Shows how quick they sell your details on.
