They have just called me to say that I was due a refund from an all inclusive holiday last year. Funds available from ATOL and that the Hotel we stayed in failed its hygiene standards. The alarm bells rang when she asked for dates/place of holiday and how many of us travelled. If it was above board she would have had that info in front of her. She was very convincing as well. I called the Customer Services Team of the Holiday Company we booked through and they checked out the number and the receiver was very quickly put down. Definitely a scam call. BEWARE.......

Company called me and said they were from Travel Advice Bureau, saying I was due a refund if I had been on an all inclusive holiday in the last 3 years. Said 10,000 hotels had been reported to have not had appropriate hygiene levels and there is money set aside for a refunds, if we don't claim then the tour operator who we booked through will receive it. I saw on another site someone supplied them with their booking confirmation etc and then was told that they should lie and say they were ill in order to get the refund! I get calls from this number every day, clearly a scan, illegitimate company trying to claim back money that is not entitlted to them!
