Public exposure/leak status: The number shows up in public facing lookups and scam reporter databases; it appears exposed in multiple public directories and third party reports. 5. Advisability of answering: Not advisable to answer or call back without independent verification; if there is doubt, avoid engagement and consider screening or reporting.

17Had - minutes before - made contact with another member of Sequence group local agency. This call arrived after an appointment confirmed with strange request - asking how my property search was proceeding - and i'm registered with Fox in Teignmouth. Neither true; chap seemed to be fishing for information about/from me. I'd spoken to an Indian gentleman in the local office: it was not a coincidence but a deliberate ping/spam call.
called, and dropped the call after 1 ring. They called back, I answered and the call continued for approx 9 seconds and no one spoke. I blocked this caller straight after.
I just had an odd phone call from someone calling themselves James from William H Brown – except it wasn't the James from William H Brown I am dealing with! The number that came up on my phone was 01525 383406 and when I queried who he was as it wasn’t a local number or number I recognised he said he was from William H Brown in Leighton Buzzard. When I asked him why he was calling me from Leighton Buzzard he said ‘our head office is in Leighton Buzzard and I am updating our records’ but I don’t think they have a head office, I thought they were all franchises? He wanted to know how my property search was going and I told him I’m dealing with my local William H Brown in Hoddesdon and that my house isn’t sold so I am not in a position to do a property search. If he was from William H Brown in Hoddesdon then he would surely know that? He then said ‘oh I haven’t got your first name on my records, what is it?’ At this point I told him that I didn’t know who he was and that his call was bothering me as I didn’t think it was genuine and refused to give him my name or any details. He then wished me well in my property search and ended the call. It seems like a scam to me. I don't think people should be going around pretending to be someone else! I was a bit worried by it. I have contacted the genuine James from William H Brown to see if he can shed any light on it. I will block this number, having seen all the comments on here.
From Connells estate agency. If their files on me are in anyway comprehensive, they'd know to NEVER phone me while there's a pulse in my veins and air in my lungs - we didn't part company on the best of terms. Would I want them to market my home? I'd rather have my testes removed with a rusty hacksaw sans anesthesia.
Sequence homes calling on behalf of Fox Estate Agents. Our home was withdrawn from the market and fully explained to Fox why this was done. Telemarketers continue to try to get us to return our home to the market. Won't listen to reason!!
It is the telephone number for a call centre for Sequence Estate Agents, which operates through a number of UK Brands and Franchises, including Barnard Marcus
Just called. I NEVER answer calls to numbers I don't recognise. So I let it ring. No message left. Easy enough then to go into mobile phone's settings and block their number !! No more calls from them :-)
Called at 7pm! No message left; if you need to talk to me about something important then why wouldn't you leave a message? I also don't live in the area code, so don't know why they're calling.
I suspect that the call is from a call centre representing an estate agent who wants to market my house. The call is entirely unsolicited and unwanted.
Called me a few times. Suspect it's Burchell Edwards Derby as we had a valuation from them.
Rang twice!! Avoid!
This seems to be some kind of estate agency call centre. They called me apparently representing Burchell Edwards from Derby, so I guess they work for a number of agents chasing up dead leads
fed up with random calls !!!
Thieves no doubt. . .
Barnard Marcus estate agent called me when I no intention of moving. Told them to take my name off and they just called again a week later. harassment.
I live in France and have had the same call as reported before
Number called me for like a second/one ring and then hung up straight away!
