22Scam calls pretending to be from Scottish Power in phishing attempt.
Claimed to be Scottish power but asked for all my details NOT a chance
Woman says her name is Roxanne and her employee number is e897879 and she is from collections department at scottish power. Seems like a definite scam, but feel free to double check.
they're calling 3 times per day to collect the debt even though i set up a repayment plan. so annoying
They asking me to pay ??
Send you in circles asking for money and account details, speak via the app rather than over the phone legit or not they’re useless, rude and scammy
originally cleared my father's Scottish Power debt with them.... contacted Scottish Power directly -- did all that was required of me. Have been promised that I will get no further calls - once again this morning. Yet the phone still rings!!
Told them to take £5 off my payg of my smart meters to settle and dept. They didn't ask for any bank details so possibly legit
Phoned me up again (lots of calls claiming to be Scottish Power) this week and asked me to go through security. Gave them completely random information and was told I owed £51 from an earlier account. Then told them I made up all the information and they said they would need to go through security again! Gave them a 2nd set of false details and was told I owed £91. Explained the 2nd set of false information and they said I would need to go through security a third time... Then told them I was Boris Johnson and lived at 10 Downing street but they hung up on me after that...!!!
Claiming I owe power useage on a property which I no longer own and during the time they claim electricity was used the building was a derelict shell with zero wiring either in or to the property.
rang me 5 times in last week..said I owe money to SP...but they want you to pay on phone by card...Its a Redditch number not 0800 so obviously a scam when I challenged them they disappeared
Sick of this number calling 3 times a day
Repetitive calls asking me to settle my termination account as I’ve just left them. I completely agreed...once they actually sent me an itemised bill They just wanted a potentially random £430 sum sent over the phone They threatened me with notifying bad debt status unless I paid over the phone I refused...obviously

Silent call, now blocked. I called back after I missed the first call and they said Scottish power.
After several unanswered phone calls I took the call. They claim they are from Scottish Power and they want my credentials. I told them that I am not comfortable providing any credentials to them as I have googled this number and it has not come back favourable. They thanked me and hung up.
Rang me from this Redditch number about my account with Scottish Power whom I left on 9th April for British Gas but have had issues over final bill which to me had been settled. When I queried why were Scottish Power ringing from a Redditch phone number ? and asked was she working from home or in an office she told me she was ringing from South Africa but yes she was working in an office & for Scottish Power?? She wanted to go through some security questions but I refused to answer any of her questions.( Manchester area).
Probably Scottish power
