12This company is a huge nuisance and should be fined. They do not screen against the TPS and do not remove people from the marketing list when asked. ALWAYS report this number to the Information Commisioner's Office. It is very say to do that on the ICO website. Because if enough people do that, they company will get a massive fine and hopefully be put out of business.
Typical cold caller. Anybody who has anything worth buying wouldn't need to cold call. The bloke who invented Rubik's cube didn't need to get on his phone and cold call to sell it did he? Same with Apple gadgets - you don't receive cold calls from them saying "Hello, this is Apple, we have a new iPhone out, can I speak to someone who might be interested in buying it?". No, they launch products that are worth buying and promote them through well thought out marketing campaigns. Cold callers by default are losers with crap they are trying to offload onto gullible fools. Tell them to **** OFF!
"Are you a home owner", said I said ne, he put the phone down, whats whe point of being on a "I don't want crap calls" list, they are a pain in the ass !!!
Energy saving company Mr Renewables calling from approved subscribed data. They will remove you if you ask them
Caller identified himself as energy savings company in Great Yarmouth, and asked if I was home owner. I told him I'd had a call from them a week ago and had said I wasn't interested in solar panels. He then tried to interest me in energy savings from govt scheme for new efficient boilers. Repeatedly offered me a free evaluation which I declined, then he hung up (politely) when he saw he wasn't persuading me.
https://www.facebook.com/MrRenewables Say a big unsolicited hello to them.
I picked the phone up, said hello and then phone was put down on me
Answered call, no answer. Line stayed connected even after hanging up so had to remove main phone plug to restore dialling tone.
As already stated, asks for homeowner (not name) and introduced themselves as (name) on behalf of "Mr. Renewables." Asked about gas and oil savings. Then, asked if ever considered solar panels. Became very 'vague' when I pointed out that they shouldn't be cold-calling and could face a hefty fine. Ended call at this point.
Cold call @ 18:45 caller was laughing as i answered, then became extremely abusive when he realized i was not listening.
This number calls, with no answer then hangs up. I hope the new legislation gets on their backs?
Random number calls that asks for homeowner not by name talking about energy saving.
