Dylan Willson aka Dylan Wilson is still at the scam. Sent the address of a home furniture store asking to purchase professional telecommunications testing equipment. Order by Brenda Lescort for some post boxes, email received to say they had overpaid us by £1,000 and requested we paid this back. This came into the bank as uncleared then bounced 4 days later. Luckily thanks to this site, we never dispatched any goods. Total Fraud, please beware fellow businesses.

Had the same here today. Customer calling themselves Creative Chambers Ltd. Asked for a quote which was provided of £454. We requested payment upfront as its a new customer. Chased the customer as we couldn't see payment of that amount. They advised they paid 2k in error and said to hold off the order until we sort it out. All sounds fishy so I googled and came across this site with the same scam. We are lucky enough to not have shipped any goods or sent any refund. I can see why this is easy to fall for though :-(

Contact me for a price for a large fish tank - I sent them a pro forma and they said they had paid it. then another email saying they had overpaid by about 2k. I then searched the internet and found that this scam had been used on loads of other people - thank god we had not sent them anything. We have advised our bank about this.

contacted us for a pro-forma then said they'd sent us £2000 by mistake then repeatedly e-mailed us asking us for an update for their refund - when no money turned up I looked up the company with companies house - no such company - then looked up "Brenda Lescort" and found lots of comments on here about them. Scamers - don't know how they've got away from it for so long but know from personal experience that Police have absolutely no interest in this kind of crime. The full details they gave were... Thank goodness I came across this site, just received the same email asking for a quote on 8 hampers, and although I sent the quote over (no bank details) my gut told me something wasn't right so I searched the name and came across your comments. Will not be sending anything out to this scammer after reading all of your comments.

Received an enquiry from a James Clint (01612052422, [email protected]). As the request came from a gmail account, we checked the phone number and luckily came across this thread. Thank you all for creating this thread and preventing others from being scammed. Very sad to hear some were taken advantage of, especially those that are trying to offer excellent customer service.

We were contacted by email from Dylan Wilson at Cartty Decoration wanting to purchase 5 of our luxury food hampers. This man would not take any calls to discuss the order and insisted everything be done via email. He asked for our banking details to pay via BACS, 2 days later he emailed again stating his accounts had over paid us by £2000. We have tried repeatedly to contact him on this number supplied by him in his emails but no-one ever answered. Our suspicions were raised because of a few things, 1) he spelt his surname Wilson and Willson in different emails, 2)he refused to chat on the phone, 3) he referred many times to his "accounts department", typically decorators are small business and do not have accounts departments, 4)no company address with Companies House. We decided to enter his phone number in google and low and behold...Fortunately, we didn't send out our hampers!

Just received this email which didn't ring true to me. No phone number and poor grammar. Large order quote required which I sent and received an email confirming that the price was right and requesting my bank details for payment. Still didn't seem genuine to me so did a bit of background hunting to find that the company is not registered at Companies House nor is there any info about 'Brown Lescott. Needless to say I will not be replying to his email requesting my bank details. If it looks too good to be true then is usually is! I smelled a stinking rat and caught it before it did me any damage!!! Dear Customer service, We will like you to supply us with the below product, Please kindly make a quote for - 23 Giant Balloon ( White round balloons) - 4ft White - Unfilled Waiting for your prompt reply. They scammed the company I work for by paying for their order for banners by cheque. They then claimed to have overpaid by £2,000. Unfortunately our young owner was unaware they had paid by cheque and as Nat West had the money as 'cleared' on his account, he paid them the 2k direct into their bank account! It's harder for young people who have little knowledge of cheques. Robbing, thieving scammers; what goes round comes round - as in 'you'll get yours'!!

DO NOT TRUST JAMIE ALLEN PERFECT TRADINGS LTD. We had exactly the same requests as stated in all the comments in this forum. Supply 10 x Roller Banners at 850mm wide, send a program etc and a payment saying 43Cheadle Cheshire Remittance came into our account. We contacted our Bank Manager and copied Jamie in - hence his then aggressive email stating that we needed to refund asap as his accounts managers job was under threat. Unfortunately we had gone to the extent of printing the banners - BUT we didn't refund him any money as the 'payment' hadn't cleared in our account. 'Jamie Allen' needs exposing to the printing world as a SCAM ARTIST!!!!

Received emails from a Sarah Curtis at Salesforce Ltd in Middleton , Manchester with this phone number. They asked for a proforma invoice which we sent over. They then paid money into our account , clearly with a dummy cheque , £1000 more than they invoice. The money appeared in our account and they asked for their £1000 overpayment back. We smelt a rat then so didn't do anything and today the payment has bounced..

They emailed me, guy called James Logan, 'Hello sales' after some prices on roll up displays, I thought it must be someone just looking for cheapest price, we only use the UK made roll up display base so I said we won't be the cheapest, ours are around this much so around twice the price of wongtong, I thought that was that. Then he emailed back and said that's fine, send me pro forma and we will pay, I thought that was unusual, and that I was wrong to assume they were just hunting around for cheapest price, I did a search and got this link to here, right to be careful as it looks like a scam, even though they have offered to pay up front, I still smelt a rat.
