10 minutes after placing an order with AO I got a call from the number trying to sell me insurance - for a TV Bracket !! It happens every time I buy from AO and I really spoils the otherwise excellent service they provide. I wonder how many customers they lose by doing this.

Each time I buy something from AO I get pestered with unwanted calls. Had 8 calls from this and another associated number within a DAY! Not answering, blocked. Also purchased from Currys this week - no annoying harrassment by them. Give it up AO, you're antagonising customers!

AO pretending to confirm a delivery then try to sell insurance on what you have purchased. I told her I was at work so didn't have the time and she said it will take you 2 seconds to log into your online banking for your account number and sort code....I politely declined and she was extremely annoyed , no doubt on commission

AO.com following up on my freezer order. Yes, they were offering extended warranty but accepted a polite 'no' as an answer as I usually deal with Domestic&General directly. Perhaps those who wrongly refer to this as a scam call should check the Terms and Conditions on the ao.com website under "How We Use Your Personal Information" before ticking the "I have read ..... " checkbox.

AO.com ringing, I placed an order and I answer phone to them, never had a problem before. But now, they ring and never say anything over the phone and then hang up without saying anything. Used to like AO, but not so much now.

Bought a washing machine from AO. Shortly after this number called, wanted to sell insurance, seemed ok until the caller wanted me to give her my bank sort code and account number. I ended the call, she couldn't understand why I didn't want to give my bank details to a cold caller!!

AO Repeatedly calling after buying a new laptop. Just block the number as no need to answer, since, all critical updates will be sent anyway by email so you are not missing anything of value by doing so. This is why they are such good value!

Always screen calls from business/house numbers I don't know. Usually pays off. AO are still trying to contact me to sell me extended warranty a week after my chest freezer has been delivered. May get from Currys in future 'cause the prices are usually the same.

AO calling to "confirm delivery details" (which I'd already received an email from them to confirm)... but hang on - would I like to buy insurance from them? Every time I place an order with them this happens. FYI, they use Domestic and General for extended warranties - who you can buy from yourself without using AO. I find it cheaper to put the money in a savings account to cover any repairs for all my appliances, and always end up quids in.

Just been called 30 mins after ordering a new cooker from AO.com. Like others have said, checking about delivery, disposal of old item, then came the why the replacement, and then the sales pitch for insurance. Said I already had cover for that sort of thing and he instantly hung up, whilst I was mid-sentence. Must be having a bad day.

Its not just AO I just received a call from a young woman claiming to be from boots appliances, in the pretence of confirming delivery details etc. In fact her sole purpose was to sell insurance cover! She repeated every detail of my delivery, which I already know, told me they can remove my old appliance, which I already know etc etc etc then asked me why my old appliance was broken! All leading to the insurance pitch! These are badly scripted insurance sales calls! I am very disappointed that boots have potentially 'sold' my details to a 3rd party and that they allow this. I have never experienced this from currys etc, Very dissapointed!

An insurance sales call related to AO.com. They are trying to to sell aftermarket insurance policies. It is a scam ! They either stay silent or talk about your AO.com purchase delivery details. These are unsolicited insurance sales calls. They are scripted and are harassment. Report them.

It's AO, and they will continuously spam you ALL day, it's really irritating. I couldn't take the call as I was at work so in the end I blocked the number. Six times a day honestly is a bit much, great company but this is annoying.

AO Insurance scam. It seems AO haven't heard of GDPR. Almost feel like cancelling my order for such underhanded pretence after care call when in fact its all about selling the consumer a nonsensical insurances. Clearly under Data Protection Act and GDPR, AO is breaking privacy regulations.
