13I have received 3 calls per day, from various numbers across the UK, following an accident in November (6 months). They all know my registration number, and date of accident, enough to pretend they are working on behalf of my insurer. THEY ARE NOT! When challenged they are aggressive and hang up.
Repeated calls over a period of a month. Then switched to UNKNOWN number and continued to call. Each caller was direct and rather nasty. When I called them up on the fact they got rather hostile and continued to call.
Ambulance chasing ball bags. Call from several different numbers. My number has TPS.
Dealt with my hires
One of many calls our office is receiving from withheld and disclosed lines claiming about an accident that never happened. Sometimes I play along with them; others times I challenge them on everything they say, ask for evidence, and generally wind them up that they put the phone down on me.
Ambulance chasing low life, lie about company name and company number when request in order to make a complaint.
Number has repeatedly called my mobile numbers despite being told not to call and numbers being registered with Telephone Preference Service. The staff have been told on numerous occasions not to call again but continue to do so changing the name of the company they claim to be. Keep claiming that there is compensation available as a result of a traffic accident and again repeatedly told that not interested in anything they have to say.
Fraud insurance trying to get you to claim for something you are not entitled to. I phoned back after 7+unknown calls & then they phoned me using 01618149198 the chap was confused as to who I was - a total scam!!! I withheld my number as phoned from landline. Spoken to a Rachel Evans too Next time i will be rude as have politely told them NOT to phone my mobile & to call my husband or write to him as they have 'ALL' his details - REALLY !!!
Several calls wanting to discuss my 'non-fault accident' on a specific date in 2013. I'm sure there was no such accident. They knew my car reg and name, and were trying to push me into revealing more. Told them to clear off. Didn't find out what the scam was, but have no doubt there was one.
Called from the hire firm who dealt with my accident doing a survey
Cold call which started playing a script about the cold caller being pressured to read script. Obviously trying to get me to sympathise with cold caller. I hung up before finding out what they were trying to push. Probably PPI
Called about PPI. Fed up with this type of calls. It might be coincidence, but every time I reserve some items from Argos, soon after I get calls like that without any PPI case in my records.
A cold call.
