Called me asked me to renew my advert with them. I have never placed an advert with them but in my work I have come across companies like this before selling advertising space to businesses on the premise that thousands of magazines will be distributed in the region. They send you a copy with your advert in but the scam is that's the only one they produce. It was in the news a few years ago a company from the nwbwas doing this and also sending people threating legal letters demanding payment for non existent adverts in the hope that people in companies accounts departmens just paid up. We told them see you in court . We never heard from them again. Be very careful as these companies all cold call claiming to be legit businesses this may or may not be legite but it is very suspicious. Be warned.

Called to ask if I’d like to advertise my business in ‘on your doorstep’ magazine. A little concerned as to where they actually got my details from to be honest. Politely declined and hoping they won’t contact me again.

Can confirm this is On Your Doorstep which sells advertising space to local businesses. Reasonable prices, the only negative is that they ask you to book 6 months of adverts at a time.
