They ring daily and an automated voice asks tyou to ring them, I called them and asked to be removed from the database, they said their client was linked to this number, when i asked who they were trying to contact they cant tell me because of data protection
Advantis Credit - Debt collection company. Usually working on behalf of HMRC, to recover outstanding taxes
i'm sick of these people calling they should be prosecuted for nuisance calls.
Says please press 1, operator came on confirming who she was speaking to and hung up. If you read this call me back and wait to hear what I've got to tell you!!! I Hope you have a rubbish day and you get pi55 wet through in the rain
wouldn't say ... just said it was a business concern.
Wanted my full name, full address, without advising me who they are. woman was clearly not from UK, .. stated she was from Stoke... asked questions about stoke,, She said she was philipines but worked in Stoke,,, asked what name of stoke city football ground... she said WEMBLEY Could not name largest City in UK.. Said Port vale. SCAM DATA FISHING CALL- DO NOT GIVE THEM UR DATA.
Hung up when I answered. Student finance informed them I owed money. I do not. Student finance accept this, debt collector still wants money.
Waste of space and time.
Harassing calls related to non-existent debt, allegedly to HMRC. Told them nothing was owed to HMRC and to provide documentation supporting allegation, but they refused. Scam.
Left an automated message. Didn't say who they were, who they wanted to speak to, or for what reason. Not even a reference number. Yeah, I'm going to call you back.
Despite constant communications and evidence to show why our company does NOT owe money, Advantis still continue to harrass us on a daily basis
El número 01782-401125 ha sido asignado a Advantis Credit.
Recorded message asking me to press a number to reply. I don not do this.
They collect on all gov debt. Pretty rude company and very unorganised however they are legitimate. If you deal with them make sure you keep records of the conversations as they may lose information and forget conversations had, even if they call you a hour after you have called them.
Contact about a business matter no imformation given as address was for an area i had never lived
called but would only say its a business matter but not who they are looking for as i don't give personal dater over the phone they lucked out.
calls and does not speak. Spam.
Advantis Credit was reported as Empresa de cobranza con el número 01782-401125
cheeky gets with a right attitude and ringing over nothing to do with me may i add.
Called 1705 29May19. Also called previous day after I hung up on them having made payment to them for outstanding HMRC amount. They were prattling on about keeping their system up to date and expected me to hold while they did so. Not my problem. I had made the payment - end of
Asked for a debt repayment on money owed to HMRC. Hung-up and called HMRC directly, they said no money owed. So it's a scam, always contact HMRC directly.
Keep calling about a company that is now dissolved. Won't give any information about what the call is regarding other than saying "It's a business matter".
They call but unless u give every exact word of your address they won't speak to you. Even though you call tell them all payment details so far. Their customer service is an absolute joke.
They call every day at 8.30am and leave a voicemail but dont say who they are or what they want. I feel harrassed.
Another scumbag debt buying company who chase you for debts you have never had. I put on my best Elmer Fudd impersonation..the caller rang off very quickly.
Taped message, don't trust them. 2-3 times a day.
Would not tell me why they were calling unless i gave them my name, address and number! put phone down.
Calls, does not leave a message and tell you who they are and ar very rude to you SO I have no reason to be in touch with them.
01782401125 HMRC I owe money so they call to talk about payment etc
Called and sent text. Text said that they wanted to discuss business opportunity (???) It IS Advantis, which I understand is a collection agency with gov contracts, but I, WITHOUT ANY DOUBT WHATSOEVER, have NO debt, never mind outstanding debt, and I am DEFINITELY NOT connected to any HMRC "issues", either myself or vicariously. So obviously they either make mistakes, or they are involved in other activities outside of outstanding debt
Called milion times to obtain the information that they already received.
calling every week - a complete pain - have no idea how they got my numbver.
Very annoyed... this is a business address and these idiots keep ringing us and asking for a guy who has NEVER even worked here. He is an EX CLIENT. this client owes us thousands of pounds s I am not going to help these idiots if I cant even get my own money off him.
I answered call taped message asked me to press 1 I don't do that I put phone down.
Called my phone as it had the same last three numbers as a person with debt, most likely calling everyone with those last three numbers fishing to try and catch someone.
They were ringing my mobile quite a lot and I don't like answering numbers I don't know especially from places I don't know. Never left a voicemail so didn't think it was important. They rang the house phone yesterday and my mother answered they left a reference number. Rang them this morning. The person I spoke to was polite asked for the reference then for my name address date of birth no bank details needed and said about there is a DVLA fine of £80 something about a renewal fee I found this very odd as I passed last year and it was my first car. I do remember though there being a complication with my direct debits the first few months but did speak to a DVLA advisor and we agreed to pay the full years payment so there wasn't anymore problems within the future. I told the advantis advisor if it was okay to call DVLA as I wasn't aware of this. Rang them and they had confirmed the fine. Sitting and thinking about it I think I know where the **** up has happened. Because the payments weren't going through correctly between September to December I rang them we agreed to a years payment so they have renewed my road tax from Dec 2016 to Dec 2017 even though I passed in August 2017. So I'm paying for the 3 months fee that I have missed . . . I think
I was worried this was all a con as I received an automated phone call and a text with a reference to call back with. I called them back on the phone number on their website (to make sure it was legit) and gave them the reference number. They asked for some security questions to prove who I was and I refused as I read these reviews and thought it was a scam. The lady on the phone understood and instead, gave me the client that filed for the debt collection and said I could contact them directly to solve it. I promised her a good review if it turns out this was all true. I called Thames Water and they admitted they made a mistake. They let Advantis know. Here is the good review
Frequently call my number, despite the person they are trying to find having not lived at this address for well over 2 years
Rung twice in past week; I don't owe anyone any money!! Don't know how they got my number as I'm ex-directory and very unhappy about this
they are blood thirsty for the debt collection community usually around HMRC ect there just common debt collection companies contacting harassing people on the phone eventually they will send the debt back.
Pathetic. No matter how many times I tell them this person is not here they still call
Advantis are a debt collection agency on behalf of DWP department of works and pensions and HMRC for working tax credits so basically if you have been overpaid any benefits in the past they want there money back. And they have the power to contact your employer and take there money all in one go from any wages. So anyone oweing a my debts will be better to contact them and sort it out rather then take your working tax credits or wages in one go. they have constantly rang my husband 5 times a week for a overpayment which is now sorted out at £5 a week.
Called 42 times in last week, 19 times in one day. Call blocked so don't even hear or see it unless I look at log.Debt collection for HMRC. (even though HMRC owe ME money).
Asked to speak with someone not based here but wold not say what it was about so TOLD HIM.
