6This is a legitimate number for Santander but duped by scammers that call claiming to be from the bank. They scare you into thinking your details have been used for transactions /loans and talk you into « changing your bank details ». Hung up and called Santander directly and was informed that the call was a scam.
Call to confirming some payments.
Stated from fraud dept at Santander and got to the point with my husband where they were getting him to transfer all of his money in his account into a ‘new’ account they had set up for him!! As soon as I challenged them they put the phone down. Santander confirm this is not them!!!
