14As previously stated, my callers are of non English type, but always state they are - Edward, Bernard, Charles etc. Absolutely fed up with them, getting calls every day, sometime 4 or 5. Have explained I do not with to take part, have never divulged any personal information. If these people are in fact sponsored by British Gas, BT or any other British company they would do well to take a look at this website and see what the "common" person actually thinks about it. Its a bloomin nuisance! I am getting to the end of my tether. Can we not stop them?
Keep getting calls from these idiots saying a survey for UK habits. I am saying that they are a habit in calling me really quite aggressive when i said do not call me back as i do not want to take part. Now get calls every hour with no answer. How do we stops these dick heads?
I consistently but politely tell them I don't give out personal data on the phone when they ask me my age and it drives them nuts. Without age they can't progress to do their survey.
Called to tell me about problems with my Windows computer. Pointed out I don't have a Windows computer. Scam.
Really, really annoying called about 4 or 5 times in the last hour. "Am I speaking to the man of the property...etc" What a flipping nuisance..
left message on answerphone: F... you, I'm going to >>>>> your wife & other obscene words. This person /company need to be barred
Called at 08.10 in the morning "about my computer" and called me ma'am with a South Asian voice so call probably from India? Not good.
It's 10am Saturday morning and they have already called me twice! They call almost every day - surely something can be done!
At least twice a day. No-one ever speaks straight away there is always a pause, I may say "what? then they hang up. I work nights & it's disturbing my sleep
This company called me four times in two hours. Said I was not interested and to stop calling me. Caller said he WAS going to ring me again and told me to "F off" (not the polite version). He did ring again a few minutes later.
My wife and I are both disabled pensioners. We only accept calls from family, the NHS or government departments. All other calls are met with the same message; "where did you get my phone number from?" After that; "Please delete my number from your records."
Uk habits have been calling no less than twice a day for months. Today I went through the survey they want to conduct at last to see if I could get further info from who is responsible. They are trying to find out info about your gas supplier, your insurer, nearly everything about your life so that they can pass your details to British companies.to pursue sales. The reason we consumers cannot stop these calls is because those behind them and financing them are British Gas, BT, the big insurance companies, etc. There is nothing we can ever do to stop this.
I receive daily calls from this number and sometimes more than once a day. Despite trying to rationalise with them about how I will never answer their questions so there is no point in calling me, they seem unable to grasp this. What I find so infuriating is that there is no way to stop these calls. Sometimes the line goes dead when I answer. The telephone Preference Service is unable to help
This is one of several numbers that have called claiming to be a company called UK Habits. The callers all claim to have very traditional English names such as Susan or Antony but their accents would make such names seem unlikely. They always want to carry out a short survey. I have been called by this company up to seven times in one evening. I cannot call bar as I do receive legitimate calls from other numbers which I would not like to miss. I am always polite and simply state firmly that I do not wish to take part in a survey - one person started to get angry and I pointed out that I had treated him courteously and was entitled to the same and he did apologise. I realise the those on the other end of the line have to make a living and it is not their fault, but I would like to know who is behind it as it IS their fault that I am being pestered in this way.
