This company is still at it but now calling off witheld numbers. I heard the words "accident" when I asked who they were. Told them never to call me again that my number was registered with Mobile Telephone Preference Service so therefore they should not be calling and that accessing my number from Gumtree for marketing calls was illegal before telling them to remove my number immediately or next time I will report them.

02035143679...Them scammers called me after this gumtree advert placing...same like every one else..accident...£3000....blah blah...i told them if they have my details...why call...send me paperwork and i proceed from they...the stupid asian speaking bustard got annoyed and stared insults...ha! ha!...i defeated them in they own game..blocked it.

Over 20 calls in an hour from these guys. Probably should have just blocked the number. Calls started within 10mins of Gumtree car sales add going live.

Indian gentleman rang asking to speak to Mrs Mike???? Said that you have had a minor car accident in the past 7 do I remember??? Have never had a car accident in my life & told him this, he hung up. Obviously a con to gain your details or put a false claim in. Do not trust

Called me about a recent car accident claiming they can help get personal injury compensation of £3000. When challenged they changed their story twice: to Government department of UK National Statistics and also Travel and Transport, quoting their website.

This company just rang my mobile after 5 minutes of putting an advert on gumtree. The reason I know they got my details from that advertisement is because I didn't put my first name on the advert, I put my sisters as the car is hers. There is no other place that her first name is associated with my mobile number!

Called early evening about a supposed accident that I'd recently had. Of course I hadn't had such an accident so the call was bogus. I have Preference Service so the call was also illegal.

Hi i had a call from these idiots and ask me to speak to my wife and told her name too, they asked about the accident happened with car, and she replied with what car and they replied its BMW lol. She said I never had this car in my life and i took over the phone and asked where did u get my number and she mention some kind departament and hang up lossers!! try to get your money be careful people!!

Asked if I was Mr H. replied he passed away a year ago. then asked if I was a family member, told no. Then said they had a report from the Road Traffic Management Department that some one at that post code had had a minor traffic accident. When told they were mistaken said goodbye and hung up. Spoke quietly with Asian accent

Had a call today from this number about a car accident I allegedly have had. I was understandably concerned how they had my name, number and postcode, when I asked how they had my info and after requesting to speak to a supervisor there, I was told to 'shut up' and the phone was put down! Tried to call back but the line ultimately cuts off.

They call saying that the are from Road Accidents Claim or something like that asking for an accident 3 years ago. First time I asked them how they got my number and they said they have everones number and tried and enforce me to confirm my details threatening that I had to do it by law or something like that (I did not understand very well bc of a strong foreign accent). I told then that if that was true and they have everyone's details to send me the information they needed from us by post and asked them to stop calling. Of course I never received any letter and around 10 montha later they have called back. Very infuriating.

They called today asking for Mr or Mrs KG, didn't say why, and when queried what their number was gave the number 01224 912389. On doing a 1471 to confirm the number given, I found the last caller was actually 02035 143679. Suspicious!
