The number appears to be a UK UK based line, but reliable, up to date attribution for the exact number +442070609965 is not clearly established here. Online reports vary in quality, with multiple UK reverse lookup and spam report services listing UK numbers and flagging potential risk, but none provide a definitive owner or confirmed activity for this exact entry. 1. What the number appears to belong to: likely a UK landline or mobile style number, but no confirmed business or individual owner is verifiably identified for this exact sequence. 2. What people say online: various UK spam/ scam check sites and forums show mixed reports on similar numbers; claims range from telemarketing to nuisance calls, but specifics for this exact number are inconsistent. 3. Association with spam/scams: signals exist on spam report databases for UK numbers in general; no conclusive, universal confirmation that this exact number is involved in fraud or phishing. 4. Public exposure/leakage: appears in public facing lookup databases; such databases aggregate user reports and regulator data, suggesting it is at least catalogued publicly in some directories, though not uniquely verified as leaked or breached. 5. Advisability of answering/calling back: not clearly advisable given potential risk signals and lack of definitive verification. If contacted, avoid sharing sensitive information and consider benign verification methods via official channels.

34Repetedly keeps ringing claiming to be different things. On the last call i threatened them that if there in the uk i will find them.... No idea if it will work or not but there has been at least ten calls in the last week mostley telling porkys
Phone shows this number as a missed call, but it never actually rings. Added to blocked list regardless.
I SET UP A CONTACT IN MY PHONE CALLED "SCAMMER" AND PUT THEIR NUMBER INTO MY PHONE. IN FUTURE I WILL RECOGNISE THEM AND NOT RESPOND.
These callers are getting much more aggressive recently - when I explained I have not had any car accidents at all I was accused of lying, being dishonest and that it was due to people like me that peoples insurance premiums are so high !! WTF - I wasn't sure whether to laugh or scream at him so I just left the phone by the side and went and made a cuppa tea - he got bored after about 4 mins - 1st politician who stamps out thse parasites will get my vote for life
Heavily Asian accented man called Mark rand me about my accident. Never had an accident, says his records are correct, but couldn't tell me where 'his records' come from. Scamsters.
called on me on mobile asking my name and address and saying that I had been in an accident over the last year (I haven't) I laughed at the caller, told her I don't drive (which I don't)and don't have a car (which I don't). She insisted that I had reported an accident to an insurance company (again I haven't). I said that I had no idea where she got my number from but could she please delete it from her list and not call again - she kept on talking over me and no matter what I said, she just kept on talking - even when I shouted down the phone to f*** off. I was so angry but she just kept on ignoring anything I was saying; in the end I hung up and listed the number as "Do not answer ever" on my phone.
A slight twist on other reviews, as claiming to have £2500.75 (very precise) owing to my daughter, on my phone, for an incident 2-3 years ago, or when pressed, in the last 4 years (all very imprecise!). Asked for company name and told Motor Investigations. I haven't acted on behalf of my daughter on my phone for over 10 years now, so old contact lists being obtained from somewhere. Will be reporting to Ofcom.
Total plank phoned. Trying to sell me a pension. Idiot.
Claimed to be from the "Pensions Review Department". I gave him short shrift.
Rang to tell me I was eligible for free boiler - told them I wasn't interested and it was a bit of a scam! Put phone down and was rang back by a so called 'senior advisor' who was extremely rude!!! I ended up telling him where to go (in no uncertain terms) - you can't ring the number back. They claim to be ringing on behalf of 'the Government' - perhaps that's where we should send our complaints.
Has called several times in the past week at various times of day, including evening. Nnever leaves a message.
I called the telecoms company who own this number range. They only provide inbound calling services, and this number isn't in use with any of their customers. It means that the caller ID is being spoofed which is completely out of their control - the nuisance calls we are getting are really from a different number that is masking as 02070609965. Report it to Ofcom and hopefully they can help track down the real culprits! http://consumers.ofcom.org.uk/2014/01/don%E2%80%99t-get-spoofed-by-phone-number-scams/
Having to stop what I am doing to answer calls is annoying and having someone invade my home who won't be told 'no' is infuriating. Would I stand on the doorstep and listen? No. I am registered with TPS so now I have their number I can complain - hopefully they will be fined for calling a registered no-calls number.
Claimed to be calling from 'The Government' about how I qualified for an improvement grant. Called me 'Mr nnnn' ('nnnn' stands for my wife's maiden name). Only company that has done this in the past (and did so regularly) was British Telecom, so presumably BT sold them my (incorrect) details.
Why if so many people have complained has TPS done nothing to stop?
Called from call centre... silent line then asked for someone else... before saying the call is about "the government green deal initiative" and started to ask for my details. I asked where they'd got the number and was told "a database" and when I asked "what deal is this" they ended the call.
Received unsolicited call from this number - did not answer. Called back (masking my number) only to hear a message say the number is not currently in use and is available for sale (BT might have something to say about that?!) and to contact a mobile number - I hung up - this needs to be followed up by someone
Silent, then hang up
Asked for Mrs. Sanderson (whom I wasn`t) than still went on about a goverment survey and tried to optain personal details. I hung up ... be alert should you speak to them pls!
Had a call from this number - I never speak, so the phone was put down without the caller speaking. However, I am registered with TPS. Looking at the comments, it seems to me that the caller has been "identified" in many different ways. I can only assume that it must originate from criminal sources.
This number rings several times per week. I no longer answer and they do not leave an answer on the answer machine. TPS does not block it.
Have just called my office claiming to be police and when i requested they give me there collar number and reason for call they asked me to confirm my card details as they have found my card , when i stated i was a investigator of fraud and all calls were recorded and passed to police they hung up so staff called back and an african man answered and said u called me never called u me not know nufin and me not in london me no no where i am , me is no fraud ster , yea rite , avoid this number with the plague i am passing this on to city of london fraud squad
The caller left a message on my 1571 service - some sort of survey - remains on my message memory - how can I erase it?
This caller is very plausible and is subtly trawling for password possibilities. DO NOT GIVE ANYTHING PERSONAL. Called number back and he was baffled, claiming to be private number in Essex. Second call to him by my husband revealed he was S.African, told him his number was in London and asked for his website as we are aware of scam calls "Sure my site is" <click> and he was gone. We don''t expect to get the promised holiday vouchers now. Call police if you are called. Your passwords may be revealed after a few such calls.
Man with South African accent, tried to engage me in witty banter as in . When I asked 'are you from South Africa?' he replied are you? and where are you from? I am from...blah blah I hung up. He phoned back.'Why did you hang up?' I pretended to be a man and replied 'none of your ******* business!' He left a garbld message. This is probably in relation to PPI as I have read many complaints but I don't see the point in being friendly or letting them say what they want to me. Something must be done. The fact he wanted to know Why I hung up is gross. He knew my name and tried to get me to confirm my address.
just called me. said they was called first call advice centre. I am registed with TPS - so need to file a complaint on them harrassing me
I have had this number ringing for three weeks every other day at aprox 4.20 it rings three times and when I answer it closes how frustrating. I can only think it is a sort of scam
Just con artists - in the same class as any other criminal trying to extract money by ant means in order to enrich themselves at the expense of others. another number for the call blocker!
Cold call received 2.4.13 at 2.50pm. Caller claimed - untruthfully I have no doubt - that they worked "in conjunction with the office of fair trading" - to secure the best deal for me in paying off my debts. When I described the call as a "gross impertinence" and that I had no debt to pay off, the caller rudely rang off immediately.
always kept getting calls from this number on my mobile, before I could answer it the phone stopped ringing. solved the problem by putting the this number on a reject list on my mobile setting, hope this will solve the problem
I am fed up with silent calls. My elderly mother is really frightened by them as she has problems hearing what is said even when its a regular call, but when no one speaks she is very upset. I wish there was away to stop them but the TPS does not have effect. They have just rung again while I was in the process of writing this, 5 mins after the other one.
Debt management co. As bad as ppi etc. Very annoyed at calls. Reported several times to telephone preference co.
Called at 8pm, lots of voices in background but no-one spoke, most irritating.
Have been called numerous times on various dates by this company, but 3 times yesterday was the final straw. Said they were a Debt Advice Agency and when asked, they indicated that they got my number because I had entered a recent competition online and included the detail - why would me entering a competition be any indication that I need debt advice?! The first time they called I asked them to remove my number from their database. This was obviously not done, because they called me twice more. When I tried to call back, I just got hold music for about 4 minutes and then an automated voice said "Goodbye". If I knew who their regulator was I'd certainly be contacting them to make a complaint!
