Fraudsters claiming to be from FSCS in relation to Carbon Credits, recovery scam asking to complete Proof of Debt - General form Rule 14.4 stating there was a high court order relating to former director of GEC Investments Limited and funds held in custodian account to be claimed.  Having contacted FSCS confirmed they do not send out such letters or contact individuals be phone and to report to Action Fraud.

Called about an investment in a company that had gone into insolvency in 2016, claiming to be the FSCS. said I needed to complete a "Rule 14.2" proof of debt general form to claim funds as part of a capital reimbursement for the investment. I have also received a 5-page physical letter from them, providing the 14.1 form for a company called Bitlimit LTD and signed by Richard Parkin, who is a non-exec director of the FSCS. I have never invested in this company.

This is a scam number claiming to be from the FSCS. Peter Brooks was the name of the "gentleman". Sounding quite convincing but a scammer , beware!
