Scammer calling me every day, stop scamming charities

Anonymous
12 Dec 2023

I asked she remove my number from the list. I was told she got my number the regular way. I asked that she not call back and she said No, she was going to keep calling back until I listen. I hung up and indeed, she rang the second I hung up. I unplugged the phone but see I've missed quite a few calls from this number. Quite a threatening response from her actually! Not exactly a sales person, more intimidating. Ah well, I guess the phone will remain unplugged. Best avoid this number if you see it.

Call centre calling from supposedly Microsoft Windows service centre. Dumb idiots don't know Microsoft doesn't ever call people out. How will Microsoft even get our number? Buy a laptop from Dell, they don't share contact details. Total indian scam. Don't fall for their trap, especially when they say we are not selling anything here.

This number rang back persistently when we wouldn't engage with him. The man who rang (Roy?) was aggressive and rude - he called me a "stupid woman" when I wouldn't listen to his sales pitch. He rang us repeatedly for about 8 to 10 more instances which meant I couldn't block him. We stopped answering the phone, tried answering it and leaving it down so there was nobody speaking to him but in the end we had to leave the phone off the hook for about 5 minutes to stop him and to enable us to block the number. Very poor behaviour and potentially distressing for vulnerable people.
