0117 462 4799 Received a call from this number saying they were from "UK Choice", they had my name and said they were calling to ask about popular brands in my local area and then asked if I live at a postcode I haven't lived at in almost a decade - so I guess some old database details have been sold to scammers. The guy was overly polite and complimentary, classic signs of a scam, and he kept repeating his script when I asked why he was calling me and where he got my info. When I asked if I could opt out of the survey, he just hung up.

Same caller with Indian accent called me on two different numbers: 02045206153 01434 338378- a Haltwhistle number Asked for me to confirm my name and asked me to confirm my address When I told him I wasn’t giving out any personal details he hung up both times Claims he’s calling on behalf of a data collection company.

I had three calls from UK Choice within 5 minutes, the caller had a strong Indian accent and said they got my number from a 'publicly available database' or a 'data management company' but couldn't give any more details than that. The number they called from was 0208 0586838. I have now blocked the number.

Call several times a day, always someone from somewhere in South East Asia with limited English. Caller had an old address and when I confirmed it was me but an old address wanted to know my current address. I asked them why they wanted my current address and the caller wouldn't give a straight answer to my straight question. Told them not to waste my time and to pi55 off and not call again. I know you shouldn't really be rude to the poor sod on the desk but sometimes it's the only way to get rid of them.

I received a call from 02037730435 saying they were calling from UK Choice, they wanted to ask a few questions and would never call again. So I asked who UK choice was and they proceeded with their question. I told them I wasn't going to answer their questions as I didn't know who they were or why they were calling. They hung up.

Called several times over the last few days. I have blocked some of the other numbers but each time it’s a different area and number, this time I decided to speak longer and find out what they wanted normally I hang up straightaway, they said they only needed 20 second of my time and they would call back if I didn’t give it to them this time. Asked me to confirm my name and address, I said no I am not going to confirm anything with you, why should I, I have no idea who you are or why you are calling. I asked where he got my details from and he said it’s publicly available, I disagreed with him and said no it’s not and he hung up on me. Became very rude when i asked where they got my details and why they wanted this information off of me, kept saying they were not collecting my data and that it was an area survey so calling all in the area. That is a great way to engage with people right there. Todays number was 02045750191.

They’ve called me about 4 times from a Birmingham number today and a couple of others including Manchester. I answered twice as I’m expecting a call from someone not a contact. Called from landline and mobile. Asking me to answer some questions. Asked to be taken off the list but they’ve called again. Harassment pure and simple.

Won't stop calling me on different numbers so impossible to block. I have asked them to take my name on off the list. Very persistent with me to give them my information, tried to pass it off as a quick survey. Really uncomfortable calls. Clearly some sort of scam.

They promise never to call you back if you answer 3 questions. I asked her where she got my number and she said, " why should I tell you that? Dream on!" And put the phone down. I've had 4 calls today and 3 yesterday and everyone I block a number they call from another. Some are mobiles, some 0161 and others 0203
