29Admiral Customer Services, constantly calling to renew my travel insurance despite asking not to be contacted.
Checking details
They called about a discrepancy in my policy and asked me to confirm my details. I told them to confirm decrepency and email or post a letter. Called admiral and this number is NOT LISTED UNDER THEIR BUSINESS NUMBERS! SCAM
Admiral Car Insurance fue reportado como Número fiable con el número 033-03335512
I had a call from someone who sounded like they were reading from a script, as they paused before saying they were from "Admiral", and they wanted to discuss my home insurance policy, but before they could they'd like me to confirm my date of birth etc. Didn't feel comfortable giving out information to an incoming call, so asked to call back and she provided the genuine Admiral number. I called Admiral back, and they had no idea why someone was in touch. Rather fishy, as this site seems to have a few genuine cases. I wonder if someone had spoofed the number.
30/3/21 - Weird call, said from Admirals insurance, said about combining my house and car insurance, but then said my car wasn't the type that it was, then said the car they were talking about was registered to a different person at my address, so I said who, they said could disclose, so I said how are you going to combine the insurances then? They said they would take that other person's car off their list if it has been scrapped (I didn't say anything about that car only that type of car wasn't mine), they could prove to me they were legitimately from Admiral. No addresses, car numbers or account numbers were discussed at all. I said lots of scams going on, if you are Admiral and want to discuss anything with me send me an email. Apparently they didn't have the facility to do that. Never asked if they had phoned me at a convenient time, keep taking even after I told them it was not convenient and I was in the middle of writing a report. Note scammers can also hijack even legitimate business numbers these days. Conversation didn't stack up for me. All I know is he had my first name and number. I divulged no further personal information.
Admiral Insurance calling me about my claim
Pretending to be Admiral Insurance - said that I had caused an accident (which I hadn't) and were trying to get lots of personal information
Admiral calling about a crash I was involved in
El número 033-03335512 ha sido asignado a Admiral Car Insurance
Used website for a car quote. Asked not to be contacted by insurers. Received phone call today from insurer. Didn't answer the call. I never answer 03/08 calls etc. If they need me that badly, they'll leave a voicemail and I can get back to them. If I don't like who they are/what they're trying to sell/promote, I block their number.
Called again, called yesterday too. Didnt answer.
Answered call, no reply from the caller. Call abandoned. Likely Admiral as I have an open claim with them.
Richard confirming policy details and extra cover.
Admiral calling me back as they said they would.

admiral calling as I put a crash claim in this morning
Legit call from Admiral regarding a car insurance policy I recently bought from them. The friendly lady on the phone confirmed some of my policy details before proceeding to offer additional services that I could pay for to add to my policy. Rolled my eyes at first but it made me realise some things I otherwise assumed. So in this case, not a nuisance call :)
Claimed to be from Admiral car insurance, trying to interest me in a better rate for car hire!
Follow up call to my car insurance quotation enquiry on the web. Politely asked questions but unable to match my lowest quote.
Call me plz im waiting for your call from last 3 days Thank you.
Received a call today but stopped ringing before I answered. It could be legit as I'm about to renew car insurance but they should have left a message or waited for an answer.
They had rung on numerous occasions but, having read on other sites that many people had been upset by them, I had avoided answering. They finally caught me, when I was off my guard having just received the last of five other nuisance calls in one morning. They told me I would not be bothered again unless I renewed my insurance with them next year.
The warnings of others who have been bothered by this company helped me decide not to answer when they called for the second time - on a day on which I had already received two nuisance calls from fakers pretending to be from Talk Talk.
I got a call from this number but the ringing stopped before I could answer. Having read the comments of others, I am glad I have not been bothered further (so far).
1/2/2017 Called at 20.30 and I not even got a car
Called, left no message. 11/6/2016 I thought we'd moved beyond silent calls.
