Called me 5 times saying they were from HSBC and wanted to speak to a signatory asked for my postcode, said it was wrong and then said I had to call them back before they could tell me what they wanted.

Received call on mobile (not publicly listed) asking to speak to signatory of my company, naming company in full, saying they were from HSBC. Very clear well spoken female, native english accent. Told them their number is showing up as scam number, they said it often does do that but could ring them back on number I trusted & they would put note on file as unable to discuss before they took us thro security ... asking for full name (only got that far as declined to give full name). Rang HSBC on trusted number, they did have a record of a phone call attempt today. Transferred to Dept.

Received an email asking to call this number from HSBC. Beware are the email used sounds credible: [email protected] I called the normal HSBC number and they confirmed that they had not asked me to call them. This is a scam.

Scam call pretending to be from the HSBC fraud department. I hung up and called HSBC back on their real number (from their website), and they told me their fraud department had not tried to call me that day. The caller will ask for information the bank should already know and would not ask to confirm your identity (full name and postcode for example).

2 phone calls from this number saying they were from HSBC in the last few days,both were foreign accents which were not easy to understand,I told them they were scammers as I had their no.by the phone with others,are no proper jobs for these people?
