6TEXT AND WHATSAPP MESSAGES SAYING THERE IS AN OUTSTANDING WARRANT/FINE OF £746.20 AND TO PAY BY 17.00 HRS TO AVOID A CRIMINAL RECORD .REPLIED AND TOLD THEM NOT TO SEND ANY MORE AS IT ISNT ME IF THEY PERSIST I WILL BLOCK THE NUMBER
Had a text to my number stating somebody else's name and saying there was a warrant out for him. Don't know how the person's name got linked with my number but seemed very dodgy.
Warrants for the courts, Magistrates, County courts, High Court. Criminal fines, council fines etc.
This guy works for a debt collection agency. These are used when parking fines / bus lane fines have missed payments to your local courts. Then the courts use these guys for collection. Ask them for your PCN number and check it on here... https://lancashire.paypcn.com/default.aspx
Messages refering to court debts, for a vehicle that's not mine and under someone else's name. Very untrustworthy.
I got a text from this phone and apparently I owe a debt of £422 for parking in a disable bay in Accrington (where I have never been) and a car I never owned. how they got my mobile from a parked car I never been in in a place I never been to is a mystery. suspect they are conmen I never rang the number.
