6phone call claiming to report suspicious bank transactions. No bank name provided Asked to confirm transaction or contact for support
I had a text from this number, it was to confirm my dental appointment. I looked the number up first tho!!
I was very dubious when I received a text from this number. I was asked to reply to confirm a hospital appointment. It seemed dodgy however after contacting my local hospital (via their usual landline) they were able to confirm it was a genuine number they use to send out appointments. It was fine, but appears dodgy. Not good planning on the part of the NHS to use this way of communication.
SMS NHS spam text.
This number sent me an SMS. I do not recognise this number, so I did not open it & came straight here, as I always do, when a number is unknown to me. My thanks to the only other person to leave a comment. I have now deleted the SMS. I deal in person with the NHS, as I am fearful of hacking, resulting in loss/ theft of my personal information. I would not have initiated any contact from the NHS portal. It may be auto-dialling, not a scam, per se, but I will mark it as untrustworthy all the same.
