Highly recommend against using this locksmith for call outs – I had Sam (as he goes by – his name is Husam Edaan) come by our new flat for a simple change of locks and mailbox key job. He changed the mailbox and front door lock and though expensive this was all fine – but I noticed while he was there a rattle / loose fit in the existing lock and asked him if he could tighten the fit and get rid of the rattle. He said yes but that he didn’t have the proper tools so would need to book a follow up. We did so – another £100 charge out – and to my surprise it took him 5 mins and he didn’t in fact briny and new tools, just a screwdriver and hammer etc from his tool bag. So he was clearly just trying to get paid 2 charge out fees for 1 job. And to make matters worse, on the 2nd call out he noticed yet another problem (some of the bolts not sitting properly when locked), which got my wife all wound up and anxious, but said once again he would need to come back for a 3rd visit – and another £100 charge out! – since he didn’t have time to do this while on site. In fact he had come to ours 30 mins earlier than agreed so when he claimed lack of time he was actually running 20 minutes early from when he was supposed to be with us! Clearly just trying to get paid 3 call out fees for one job. Unprofessional, dishonest and overpriced. Consider yourselves warned!

'Cricklewood/Ace Locksmiths' are stickering illegally in the SE1 area, offering free 24 hour access to properties. Spoken to the owner who denies all knowledge and then answers ALL the numbers. Our door has actually been damaged since their sticker was added. Reported to the police and the council (they are already banned by Brent Council) but please keep an eye out for further stickers and report to fraud/local councils please.

Left a sticker on my door this evening. Plastered all houses in our area. I texted to ask why, as he’d promised to stop a year ago. Untrustworthy and unpleasant man.

Plastered every door in our area. Challenged the man who was doing this asking him to not do this. Got an aggressive response. He falsely claimed he's installed all the entry systems. I removed the stickers. He returned an hour later and put new ones up.

Son of the Owner for cricklewood locksmith The number 07932961616 does not belong to cricklewood locksmith We want to state that Husam edaan has been notified of this and has stopped advertising with stickers he has found online avenues and we have spent a great deal of time and money to rectify this I can only apologise for him as he struggles with dyslexia and struggles to use the internet to advertise his business please do not hold that against him he is doing his best to overcome it to provide a good service for a good price as we have done for the past 20 years for the CD people of cricklewood

They stuck a sticker on my door in Islington. This is the fourth time in recent months. The stickers are very obvious and neighbours who are away face a security risk when they do not remove the sticker in good time. I am reporting them to Islington Council Trading Standards.

We just had these labels stuck on our doors in Camden Mews, London. I called the number and spoke to ‘Sam’ who apologised and has agreed to come and remove it within 48 hours. I told him to remove the stickers from the whole street but he refused to do that. He sounded quite plausible but we will see if he comes or not. If he doesn’t I will notify Camden council. What pests these people are! Previously we had a garage-door company who broke off the manufacturer’s reference plate and put their own stickers everywhere. Perhaps the answer is to call them out to a fictitious address...

These cowboys claiming to be locksmiths stick these annoying stickers all over peoples property. Every house in my street now has one of these Cricklewood Locksmith stickers on their front doors. I’ve looked at their reviews and can see why they resort to labelling intercome systems and entrance ways: because that’s the only way they can get business! If they were any good, they wouldn’t need to use illegal and aggressive advertising to make money. Avoid like the plague.

Outrageous and invasive MO - ruining door frames with stickers and scaring homeowners. They should be banned.

Cricklewood Locksmiths have again been out applying their antisocial stickers all over front doors, letterboxes, intercoms and door frames in my neighbourhood. The phone number printed on the stickers is 07932 961 616. After reading their reviews on Google, I've come the the conclusion that not only are they using illegal advertising methods, they're also ripping people off by charging extortionate prices for sloppy and unnecessary work. Customers have complained of their so-called locksmiths drilling out locks instead of using any skill to open the lock and several disappointed customers also mentioned extensive damage to doors. I guess you could say Cricklewood Locksmiths are experts at damaging doors, even when you're not a customer they'll still cause damage with their stickers that they leave all over the place without permission.

07932 961616‬ is the phone number for Cricklewood Locksmiths in North West London. They go around sticking stickers on people’s front doors without permission, often causing damage in the process. Brent Council has banned them from stickering but they still continue. They have even been in the local newspapers and the police have issued warning about this companies stickers. I’d recommend reporting them to your local Trading Standards if they’ve stuck a sticker on your front door or intercom. Even if you’re in need of an emergency locksmith, don’t be tempted to use these guys - read their reviews and you’ll soon realise what sort of company this is.
