A scan of public looking reverse lookup results suggests this is an 0800 toll free UK number, with mixed reports noting nuisance or potential scam activity in user facing databases. No definitive, authoritative confirmation of a legitimate entity is found beyond generic lookup pages. 1. What it appears to be: A UK toll free (0800/ +44 800) number, typically used for customer service lines; no clear specific company identified from the results. 2. What people say online: Various third party lookup sites show spam/scam flags or generic “caller unknown” notes; some pages emphasize blocking or verification steps. 3. Association with scams: Some listings label it as potentially scam prone or nuisance, but no direct, conclusive evidence of a specific scam tied to this exact number. 4. Public exposure/leaked: Appears in multiple public reverse lookup and spam check databases; not clear if leaked or breached, but exists in public directories and reporting platforms. 5. Advice on answering: Given mixed signals and potential for nuisance calls from toll free numbers, avoid answering or calling back unless the caller leaves a voicemail or you independently verify legitimacy.

Very rude sales people calling from India, they ask you to give out personal information to confirm your account and when you question who they are they get very rude and then hang up on you. Totally unprofessional and rude, block this number!
gaz reportó Virgin Media con el número 080-00521251 como Número fiable
constant calls, several a week claiming to be Virgin Media, sounds like the Philippines, despite telling them not to call me, they keep calling back under a new number every time.
claims to be concentrix, in partnership with virgin media. trying to sell stuff. virgin media and even concentrix do not recognise this number??
08000521251.Constantly ringing me with bullish attitude. Gets cross when I don't answer his questions. I have tried blocking this number but it keeps getting through. Foreign speaking with heavy accent. Virgin have confirmed this is nothing to do with them. It is a scam ultimately to scam you. Absolutely no principles.
beware this is aggressive pestering
Every day calling asking to make virgin better for me And want more money.. sick and tired of it
6 calls in two days.....people shouting in the background, sounds more like a scammer than Virgin Mobile!
ITS VIRGIN MEDIA TELESALES/MARKETING, The do take 'no thank you' as answer though!
Claim to be from Virgin Media, have all my preferences set to no marketing calls, ironic these calls are starting after a recent complaint was dealt with by CISAS and VM compensated me £300 for mis-selling. Number now blocked.
claimed to be from virgin media offering to review and upgrade account. although they used my name and called a Virgin mobile i suspected it was a scam call to obtain security info for account. virgin mobile later confirmed the caller number is not a virgin number.
Always calls, saying I can upgrade my phone.
Trying to force you to upgrade your mobile survice
Received a call with an asian sounding lady on the other end. As a "Virgin Media VIP" and that i was entitled to "special offers". Asked if the offers could be sent to me by email to review at leisure. Strangely, they could only be discussed over the phone. Lady quickly lost interest when i made it clear that i wasn't going to be agreeing to anything by a random call. If Virgin Media are promoting these calls, I'll be sending a VIP email to them....!
Fast talking woman with what I assume is a Philippino accent. Had sufficient info for me to believe they really were from Virgin, "sold" me a new box, two house phones, and doubled my broadband speed for nothing. Not even an activation fee.
Called because of our 2 year anniversary with virgin. (She have me the correct moving in date/installation) because we were loyal customers we got sky movies free for 6 months.
Kept calling on my mobile. Speak very fast and claim to be from Virgin Media. Basically trying to sell upgrades to TV and mobile contracts. I've done my research and it appears that they ARE acting on behalf of Virgin media but just have very heavy sales tactics. I've now blocked them via my marketing preferences.
woman with foreign accent (?Philippines?) talking very fast wants me to tell her my name address and postcode. When I asked her, several times, to say who she was and why she was calling, claimed to be from Virgin Media, I have no way of knowing if this is true. I said she already had my address (but wouldn;t say what it was) and wanted me to confirm it. Asked for my date of birth, I said "what do you want that for" and she said shealready had it so I didn't say. That is all very aggressive and suspicious. Said they would install a new TV decoder box for me free of charge. I did not provide any account details and did not agree to pay anything. This is just the sort of call that a scammer or fraudster would make. I am expected to let somebody into my house after that call. very poor practice from Virgin (if it really is them, how would I know?)

Upselling disguised as technical assistance
My kids keep getting calls to their mobiles from this number - checked my Virgin Mobile account, all my preferences are set not to receive marketing, junk etc, yet Virgin think it's ok to ignore this
I keep finding missed calls from this number and looked it up. Virgin Media recently sent me a new sim card to future-proof the phone for network upgrades. I haven't got around to using it as I haven't had time to copy my address book off it. So when I saw it was Virgin I thought it might be something to do with that. However, people are saying on various sites that it is aggressive marketing. I am on a very cheap rate which they have this year increased slightly and is still a good deal but if they try to persuade me to upgrade to a much dearer one I'll be telling them "thanks but no thanks"
