12Kept calling but they kept hanging up straightaway before I could answer. No voicemail left or message. I don’t have pop or child maintenance so unsure what it’s about
I answered, it was PIP regarding a claim I made and that I'm currently owed some money after a 2nd medical, they couldn't disclose details of the claim itself regarding it's success, however it's definately the DWP and if I'm owed, I think things went ok, although I'd rather have my health. A scammer would ask for bank details and I was also offered proof that it was them on the phone.
this is an actual real number.
Was DWP
I received a call from this number and came online to check who it was. Once I read the comments, I answered the call when it rang back. It was the DWP regarding my PIP appeal. Which had been stopped has the decision i wasnt happy with, had been overturned!
When I answer they put the phone down.
This is CSA (CHILD SUPPORT) I can confirm this is a genuine number usually a Scottish person that deals with child maintenance
Rang me today, from DWP pip tribunal dept, about winning Pip appeal. She told me the date of when I applied, ( which only I know aswell as DWP) asked if I would verify a few questions, DOB, postcode & which bank should it be payed into( never asked any personal details like account number )Said I would receive payment 3-5 days time and award letter would follow. I do believe this to be a genuine number.
Can confirm this is a number used by the Department of Work and Pensions it is also used by HM Courts and Tribunals by the Benefit Decisions Team.
Wanting to run a check on my account to confirm they're still up to date with latest details for benefits. Seems like phishing to me.
Wanting to do an eligibility survey for benefits.
Apparently from DWP (Department for Work and Pensions), saying that I must pay money. Unclear.
