they regurgitated my postcode. Then asked if I had made large purchases e.g. £100 from Amazon, £30 for Netflix. I said "no". The connection then went bad. What gave it away was he got very angry saying "stop playing games sir!!". Legit customer representatives would not say this or have such a short temper.

SCAM !!!! DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY DETAILS ESPECIALLY IF THEY SEND YOU A TEXT, EVEN IF IT IS FROM AMEX! CALL AMERICAN EXPRESS DIRECTLY, THEY HACKED AMEX CUSTOMER SERVICE NUMBER SO THEY ARE ABLE TO SEND TEXTS AS WELL AS APPEAR LIKE A GENUINE AMEX REP. CALL AMEX BACK AND DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY DETAILS WHAT SO EVER!!!!
