AS OTHER COMMENTS, I HAVE ACCRUED CHARGES FOR CALLS TO THIS PREMIUM RATE NUMBER ALL IN THE SMALL HOURS OF THE MORNING. IM SO DISGUSTED THAT THIS ALLOWED BUT COMPLETELY EXPECTED...MY TERMINAL WAS PROVIDED BY PAYMENTSENSE WHO HAVE SO MANY HIDDEN CHARGES OVER AND ABOVE THEIR CONTRACT TERMS...AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

I am not even with Worldpay but it appears it is Ingenico who actually supply my terminal. I have just had a £17 charge. I also have at least £1 every month. I think that it is shocking that they use such an expensive way. I am happy to connect to the internet for an update periodically but it’s so unreliable where I am that I need the phone line connection. If they are charging me they should at least send an invoice/receipt. Then I wouldn’t have wasted an entire day trying to sort it out!!

Having spoken to my provider after having 5 calls go out from my card machine totalling £19.51 on one day this is a software update which occurs every 18months-2yrs. You can avoid this and all the other weekly/monthly small charges but connecting to your router instead of your phone line. It took me a few minutes to do with the help of my provider and apparently the machine will now use the internet so no more charges!

my terminal called this number twice for 1 hr 20 mins and cost £11 - sneaky buggers do this accidentally to everyone and I guess very few people notice and even less have the energy to complain!

My payment terminal must have called this number at midnight, call lasted over an hour costing £12. Worldpay should be ashamed using premium rate number for terminal updates.
