SIXT charged me 4 x £40 for handling a parking notice. I called this number on their SIXT RENT in the APP shows as headset with 'call customer support' against it. I was kept waiting on the phone some answered after 20 mins . total time spent 41 mins. below is what I am charged. copied and pasted below.: 08444993399 Your access charge is £22.66 Your service charge is £2.88 No warning given.

Called shortly after pick up to report a scratch found on car. Office was closed both times so hung up. 1 minute and 2 seconds in total - cost me almost 5 quid. Will never rent from Sixt again - what a rip off

Sixt only allow callers to contact individual branches - all calls must go through this 08444993399 - it is a Premium rate Number. I called this number 08444993399 three times and incurred extra charges of £20 on my monthly mobile bill. For every call made to this number there are two charges, A Service Charge and an Access Charge. There are no warnings on their website to alert customers or potential customers that this is a Premium Rate Number. Be WARNED.
