5from looking online i'm assuming its some kind of scam debt collector, i don't tend to pick up phone if i don't know number, but i checked number online in case it was job centre or something, but apparantly its some kind of cold caller, waste of time talkin to these ppl if in fact u get to talk to a real person, most of time its auto msg and u get asked to call back, not happenin
Its my dentist calling using an automative machine to remind me of my appointment.
They just phoned and an automated message said a caller had left a message for me and to press 1 to listen now. I didn't trust it as it sound like a scam so ended the call, glad I did as I believe it to be a premium rate number.
Bunch of scammers. They claim to be different debt collection companies, from different numbers. Been going on for years. You pick up, the automated call kicks in, leaving a message for someone who doesn't exist. In my case, they are always asking for someone called Mr Paul Roberts. I understand a lot of others have the calls asking for the same person, so clearly not an error but a deliberate ploy to get people to respond to the message by pressing "No. 1" on the keypad, which I understand leads to a premium rate line. As soon as you block these pests, they ring from another number, and on and on it goes. Just a bunch of scammers who need closing down once and for all.
scam calls do not answer or they will call continuous
