A man called in asking if he'd reach a business that was not mine and if we were located at an address I wasn't familiar with. He said he was updating some directory. I just said no thank you and that we are all set. Then hung up. This number has called five times over the last 11 weeks.

I was called from this number and asked by the caller to confirm my company details, when I asked why I was told the information would be used for various directories such as Thompson etc. As the information she gave is simply the registered office I do not want that that address published as a local business as it is not open to the general public.

Called stating he was from 118, I queried this and immediately googled the number 01212853695, I told him it was a scam & hung up on him. He just kept repeating he was from 118 calling to verify our business address, etc.

Caller stated that they were working on behalf of BT, Yelp and other online agencies. Looking to gather information about my company. When I questioned the reason for calling, they repeated the same and continued asking me to confirm. Eventually after more questions from myself, they hung up. Not trustworthy, do not engage.
