Answered call and it was a recorded message that shouted a number Called back Oriel on a number off their website to check scam, they asked for security all I said was last name and phone number and they said "looks like we have the wrong number I'll remove that" Don't owe anyone anything so SCAM

I work for lawyers and they call our number regularly. It's the same as everyone here has described. I never return the call, if it was genuine it would be an actual person with a lot more information. Must be very dodgy!

Called and left messages about an unresolved matter, even though I answered the phone the voice told me to call them back. Have no debts so haven't called. Believe its a scam. Similar no to Oriel s website but not same

Miss called me twice, left a voicemail each time requesting that I return the phone call quoting a reference number. I did this, quoted the reference number. They then asked for my details, I said I would not give them these but they can give me my details if they have them…. They refused… I requested they tell me the first letter of the name they have on file…. They refused… I ended the phone call at this point.

had a call now twice from this company, first time I rang back gave them the reference number they asked for my details. At this point I told them as I did not know who they are or what they want I would not give my detail. Told them to send me a letter as they must have them to contact me..... still waiting for letter now blocked the number 01242 508627 on my phone ..... calls like this need

This number has been calling my landline for at least 6 months, a few times a week. Usually at lunchtime but recently started in the evening too. They always leave an answer machine message about being from Oriel and having an unresolved matter, quoting a reference number. I've been home a few times when they've called and even if you answer the call it's the same automated response as the answer machine message so I've concluded that it must be spam or a scam. I won't ever be calling them back but it is definitely a nuisance!!!!!

I have had about 8 or more calls from this company on my answerphone over the last couple of weeks, always the same recorded message about an "unresolved matter", asking me to phone back on this number and to quote a reference number. I get calls from this mob every few days asking me to call them and quote a reference number. I eventually decided to call them and ask who they were representing - the guy wouldn't say. I didn't quote the ref number as it all sounded way suspicious. I do not owe money to anyone, other than a dodgy parking ticket I got 4 years from a crowd of crooks running a scam in Perth. Any one else get calls due to a parking fine?

Wouldn't tell me what call was about until I gave more information on our company which I refused to do. They said to our receptionist it was to do with BT, that it was 'sensitive' but wouldn't tell me more until I gave more details so I ended the call
