Called saying I owed money to spark energy from 2019 when they went into administration, said I didnt. They said they would email over I voices, called spark who confirmed NO DEBT WAS ON MY ACCOUNT and all balances were cleared last year when they shut down. Call the company back and told them I didn't owe anything, they said they would put notes on the account. ALWAYS CHECK WITH THE COMPANY WHO THE DEBT RELATES TO!! so bad as so many people wouldn't think to double check old accounts and would just pay! Saved myself £140! Scammers!!!

worse customer service ever. 1 day overdue on a payment. already spoke to spark energy regarding it. about to clear it - this makes me want to take them to court instead of settling any balance. They might want to invest in web design - their emails are awful i would throw that straight to spam if i didnt see 'spark' in there.

Minicredit was pretty much forced to shut down as payday loan regulations increased. Debts were bulk bought by OPOS at first followed by kapama as a means to recycle the debts. They will be rude and aggressive as they are trained to. Theres a process tbey are forced to oblige too that can sometimes lead to the debt being shut down. Politely ask for a copy of the original debt, an upto date full statement proving all interest within the default dates and in comparison to the original debt and full details of their complaints procedure. This signals youre getting advice regarding debt from someone that knows your rights and theyll become awfully sheepish. If they question any of your request simply say you need the info to understand your debt.

This number(and 42832/4283990)are used by a call centre, apparently at Opos Ltd. I gather that they are a debt collection agency acting on behalf of NPower. Opos have been phoning me up to 5 times a day, claiming that I owed NPower a balance on a Pay-as-You-Go meter. NPower's bill was based on their crazy 'ESTIMATED' meter readings, NOT actual readings. In my opinion, NPower's bill was FRAUDULENT, & Opos are trying to strong-arm/bully vulnerable folk into paying NPower sums that NPower is NOT entitled to. Last month NPOwer confirmed in writing that I did NOT owe them anything, yet Opos have continued to subject me to hassling, distressing phone calls. I have threatened both NPower & Opos with civil proceedings if they continue to persecute me. Don't let them bully you unfairly & unjustly.
