Repeated automated calls. I rung up and they immediately want my address under the guise of a "security check" whatever that means. I said I don't need to discuss it as I know I don't owe any money as they suggest. Threatened me with legal action. This is now harassment - a criminal offence

I never answer as I use true spammer but they call me and when my voice mail kicks in it then an automed machine requests for me to ring them, I don’t have a clue and unsure how they have my number.

Rang me regarding a personal matter apparently. Wanted me to disclose information to prove who I am yet I've no idea how they've got my number. Anyway told them to send me a letter and hung up. Never give your personal details out over the phone unless you've called them.

This company has called at least twice, asking for a person who has never lived here and when asked what number they called they gave a number for the area I live in but not mine. Found theirs by 1471. A Phishing call. Never give out any info, I do not even give my name or real number!

Just got a call from these people, asking to speak with Mrs. S, thats me, they said they had personal business with me and wanted my details, i asked what was it about and their replay was that they could not give out any information until they confirmed my details. So, i told them that i had no "personal business" with them, did no know who they are and was not interested in anything they are selling. Very rudely the woman told me that will call again and that they have "business" with me. I hung up and blocked the number. This is not my rodeo with this type of people.

I did'nt give any data but the guy asked to speak to my daughter by name. How would he know? She hasn't lived at this number for over 10 years! Says he was from Aventis Debt Collection company asking about some outstanding business. At no time did I give my name or let on I knew my daughters name.

Just answered a call from this number and was told they were looking to speak to S MacDonald which is myself. They said they were calling regarding a personal matter on behalf on a mutual client but could not tell me any more information until I confirmed by details. Girl was rude and very blunt on the with her responses. I will not confirm any details unless I know who is calling but she refused to disclose that to me. Hung up

collect debts for unpaid road tax if you didnt notify in time , car insurance if had on dd and deafulted etc. As with all debt collection companies you don't have to pay anything , tell them to take you to court . Remember dat protection act which is why they need to confirm your name address etc just say Rupert bear dob 1/1 1901 they usually hang up then, pin in number to ignore in future.

I don't owe anything to anyone. I don't spend money that I don't have. I pay my utility bills on time. So I am not going to follow the instructions of the automated message and press 3 to speak to an operative. The number is now blocked.

Called a place of business with an automated message stating that it was advantis calling but all their advisers were busy and to call back (!!) when less busy. Then left a telephone number to call which i didn't catch as said too fast. This is place of business so i am unsure why we would be getting such calls. Do not ring back.

I had a missed call from this number and having read here that it was a debt collection company I panicked that I had forgotten to pay something! So the man on the phone searched my number and in the meantime asked for my surname. I replied that surely he should know my surname as it was them who called me. He then said he could see on the system that they had dialed a wrong number and I would be removed from the system. Not 5 minutes later I received a call from a mobile number unknown to me. They asked for a man unknown to me and it was MY mobile and has been my number for years. This lady also said I'd be taken off their system - when I looked it up it was also a number for Advantis.
