The number appears to be a UK geographic 020 prefix line, but reliable, up to date attribution to a specific individual or organization is not clearly established from public sources in this moment. Reported signals from user generated databases suggest mixed activity, with some entries indicating potential nuisance or scam associations, though details vary and are not consistently corroborated. 1. Ownership/Type: Likely a UK landline (geographic 020 number), but no verified single owner or organization is consistently identifiable across sources. 2. Online chatter: Multiple UK call info aggregators show user submitted comments and reports; entries vary in detail and reliability, some suggesting telemarketing or nuisance calls, others lacking sufficient context. 3. Association with scams: Some entries in spam report databases imply potential misuse in telemarketing or scam contexts, but no definitive, verifiable pattern applies universally to this exact number. 4. Public exposure/leaks: The number appears in public facing phone lookup and spam report databases, indicating it is publicly queryable and monitored; no clear evidence of a large scale leak beyond standard public directories. 5. Advice on answering: Given mixed signals and presence in public report databases, caution is advised; avoid sharing sensitive information if contacted unexpectedly, and consider screening or blocking the number if observed calls persist. Note: This assessment relies on publicly available, user contributed sources with varying reliability. If more precise, time stamped records from dedicated reverse lookup services become accessible, a more definitive conclusion could be drawn. No definitive owner or scam designation can be confirmed here.

These idiots just called me at 8:35 in the evening
Phoned mobile very late. Didn't pick up. No message left. Now added to blocked numbers list! TPS is a joke, registered with them (landline is ex directory) and still get harassed by these idiots phoning up on both numbers.
Claimed to be conducting an important survey.

My phone is ex-directory and registered with TPS. Woman called asking if I could spare time for a survey about new technology in the home. Yeah sure, I'll tell her about my 65" TV, smartphone, laptop etc so that I am burgled next week? I put the phone down.
Called at 20:36 and my Caller Display didn't recognise the number - so I let my answerphone take over. My message obviously put the caller off and they hung up without leaving any message. I've read your comments and have now added this number to my blocked callers list, so they won't be bothering me again!
Female caller, mid-day Sunday! A TNS survey apparently, requiring "a few minutes of my time to answer a few questions". My usual response: "This is not a domestic number. It is for the use of authorised maintainance & service personnel only. Please do not call this number again". Hope it works. I am ex-directory & TPS.
9pm call
Doing a survey about the economy. No doubt it would require me to give my contact details which would then be used for marketing. Gave him the usual two word reply. I am ex directory and registered with the TPS.
These idiots called me out of the blue and when I did not want any calls, they they said THEY DID NOT UNDERSTAND. I know where their telephones should be put - were their brains should be.

These weasels called on bank holiday Monday muttering something about a survey, more likely marketing. Told to get stuffed and added to call blocker.
They've be ringing me for the last 2months, I never answer, just dial 1471 to find their number, get calls all day long, really annoying now so went to their website and requested they remove me from their data bases, this can be done from the contact us option on their website, we will see, Also have my home/mobile number registered with TPS,(telephone preference service)
said they were a company called TNS doing a survey on behalf of the HSE I told him we didn't deal with cold callers, he just repeated he was from a company called TNS and was doing a survey on behalf of the HSE I told him we don't deal with cold callers and he just repeated... this conversation went on for a least 5 mins, in the end I think he got the message. Bless him. It's not too difficult to understand is it?
