A concise, independent assessment based on available public data indicates the UK number +442088912452 is likely a consumer facing or business origin UK number, but concrete attribution is not conclusively verifiable from reliable sources in the current query window. Online discussions show mixed reports about similar UK numbers in the same area, with many entries labeling such numbers as potential telemarketing or scam related, suggesting caution when answering or returning calls. 1. Ownership/Type: The number appears to be a UK geographic style number (London region), often used by businesses or telemarketers, but a definitive, verifiable owner is not established from public sources available in this query. The pattern aligns with commercial or telemarketing use rather than a clearly identified mobile or premium rate line. 2. Online presence: Public facing reports and user comments for this specific exact number are sparse in reliable sources, but related numbers in the same vicinity receive warnings or indicate telemarketing activity. User driven directories frequently catalog such numbers with cautionary notes or flags. 3. Association with scams/spam: There are persistent indications across aggregated databases that numbers in this category may be involved in telemarketing or potentially fraudulent activity, though no direct, proven fraud claim tied to this exact number is confirmed here. Treat similar UK numbers as high risk until verified. 4. Public exposure/leaks: UK telemarketing/spam databases and caller lookup services commonly index such numbers, suggesting exposure in public directories and reporting platforms. The exact match’s status remains uncertain without corroborating entries or breach/paste site evidence specific to this number. 5. Advice on answering: Given potential association with telemarketing or misuse observed in nearby numbers and general caution around unverified UK numbers, answering or returning calls is not advisable without prior verification. Consider screening, omitting the call, or using a caller ID/voicemail approach before engaging.

It’s been 3 years now I been getting calls from this number. Yesterday was the latest call to my mobile. I answered the phone to them said hello — speaking — said my name they put their phone dwn their end immediately I got text off them. It read Lisa Hilditch ( that’s not my name ) Please pay back the loan you owe for 2,142.73p ring this number to pay. Yes 3 years I don’t have any loans my credit score is 99 the highest . I don’t have any debts either well apart from my mortgage that ends this year. Thing is it’s just a call to my mobile but they don’t know where I live as never received a letter . Told them that the mobile they are calling they have the wrong number , had this number for 6 years but 3 years I’ve been getting calls from them . What bunch of morons hey are.

Called claiming they are chasing a debt from a client that has never been a client and said client has been avoiding them. When I refused to give out any information (mainly because they are not a client do I do no have any) they became very threatening. Put the phone down and each time they called back I just played a recording of a high pitched screech down the phone until they hung up :)

They called me around10 times now . Called them back to ask who they are, some rude guy tried to get my details so he can find out who I am and why they called me. I just hang up. I knew that they are debt collectors just wanted to confirm that they are in fact rude people after reading all your comments. Never answered again... F**k those people. I have a debt but with an insurance company. Nothing to do with hellix. Original company doesn't seem to answer my calls or emails. I've sent another email saying that since they do not wish to speak to me, call debt collectors and close the case

I have had so many calls from this company over the last few days. Extremely threatening. I advised I was in work and unable to talk to be told they didn't care. Said that from a loan I have in 2010 (I paid back) that I now owe them over £1000 due to interest rates and also the cost of it being sold on (the original loan was £200). Received a text message today saying that someone will be at my address to seize goods. Poorly run company with bullies behind the phones. Not getting anything out of me.

Very rude, accused me of money laundering because when they called I was going through a bank change so never had an active bank account in my name, asking for full bank details from me,also had text messages threatening to send an agent..but as you all know this doesn't happen,it was due to cancellation of car insurance, hardly a debt they can take goods for,I worked in debt management, these guys are useless and seem to work from a garage while playing computer games

This firm called me at 1830 last night - they have purchased an alleged debt from a cancelled motor tacit renewal policy over three years old. When I refused to acknowledge the debt, explaining the policy was not taken up and that this has been sorted with the insurance intermediary and previous debt collection agency years ago their agent, Harry told me that they were a 'different beast' and that 'if you don't pay today and enforcement agent will arrive on Monday to seize goods including your car'. When I asked if they had a court order he said 'no we can seize goods under the Road Traffic Act', of course they can't and this just demonstrates the firms tactics - needless to say complaint now logged with Financial Ombudsman Service and copied to Financial Conduct Authority and Office of Fair Trading.

The caller rang for someone else but got very irate when told it isn't the debtor. He rang back 9 times in a row. Annoying to say the least.
