A concise factual report based on publicly available, user contributed sources indicates mixed signals for the UK mobile number +44 7786 209254 (07786 209254). The number is repeatedly described in community based databases as a mobile UK caller with a tendency for negative experiences, including reports of spam or scam like behavior. Given these reports, callers are advised to proceed with caution and consider not answering unsolicited calls from this number. 1. Ownership/Type: Reported as a UK mobile number (MVNO/EE/ Vodafone variants appear in some listings), not clearly tied to a single verified organization. Multiple entries label it as a mobile line rather than a business or landline. A few threads mention it in contexts suggesting consumer outreach rather than a known corporate entity. 2. Online discourse: Community driven sites show a mix of comments, with several users labeling the number as associated with spam or scam calls and some discussing unsolicited texts; ratings tend toward negative sentiment. 3. Association with abuse: The majority of user reports describe nuisance calls or messages, with terms such as spam or scam used by contributors; no single, definitive official listing confirms formal fraud, but repeated negative feedback supports caution. 4. Public exposure/leakage: The number appears in public facing caller lookup databases and spam report platforms where users post experiences; frequent appearances across multiple community sites suggest it is publicly visible in such directories. There is no indication of an official data breach tying this exact number to leaked datasets beyond user shared reports. 5. Advice on answering: Given persistent negative reports and spam/scam associations on public forums and lookup services, answering or returning calls from this number is not advisable; consider blocking or screening, and rely on call labels from reputable lookup services before engaging.

6phone call claiming to report suspicious bank transactions. No bank name provided Asked to confirm transaction or contact for support
I had a text from this number, it was to confirm my dental appointment. I looked the number up first tho!!
I was very dubious when I received a text from this number. I was asked to reply to confirm a hospital appointment. It seemed dodgy however after contacting my local hospital (via their usual landline) they were able to confirm it was a genuine number they use to send out appointments. It was fine, but appears dodgy. Not good planning on the part of the NHS to use this way of communication.
SMS NHS spam text.
This number sent me an SMS. I do not recognise this number, so I did not open it & came straight here, as I always do, when a number is unknown to me. My thanks to the only other person to leave a comment. I have now deleted the SMS. I deal in person with the NHS, as I am fearful of hacking, resulting in loss/ theft of my personal information. I would not have initiated any contact from the NHS portal. It may be auto-dialling, not a scam, per se, but I will mark it as untrustworthy all the same.
