43I made the mistake of answering the phone to this number in early June. A recording claimed I had won an i pad and to phone a PREMIUM rate number to claim it. Obviously a SCAM. I barred the number but every week I get a voice mail from this number saying something about pressing 9 to cancel. DON'T press 9. It's will call a PREMIUM RATE number. There is no way to stop these people. All you can do is bar them and check who called before checking your voice mail. These CRIMINALS are really irritating me and I'd like to see them in prison soon.
Just had call from this number never answer them until ive checked they left message about opting out better still just dont ring me
called multiple times, number is blocked now but still calls at least once a day (i can tell from the app) and they always leave a voicemail but with nothing recorded!?
I was in the middle of an important call on my landline when interrupted by this call on the spare mobile I never use except for emergencies. I broke off to see who was calling and was able to quickly identify it as yet another call from these criminals. I waited for the mobile to stop ringing. Then I was able to resume my conversation.
Got a call from this number but was in a meeting so didn't answer. Had a voicemail left which was basically an recorded female voice giving options to Opt Out etc - basically, the recorded message ran on long enough to record a VM. Usual kind of scam call - you've won this/won that/take part in a survey etc.
Blocked by an app on my phone, still get the last part of an automated message. Called a few times a week by variations on this number.
Why is this number not closed down? It's clearly a scammer so shut it off
I just had a call from this number, but as it was calling I typed the phone number into Google and it directed me to this site. Needless to say I didn't answer it! Thanks everyone for the pre-warning!
Calls me constant but I have an app called true caller and it doesn't allow the phone to ring. It will just tell me I have a missed call and say identified as spam with the number next to it. I used to get calls constant from all diff nos then I got this app and it really does help. I do still get the missed calls but at least the phones not ringing and I just clear the missed calls once I notice it.
Didn't manage to answer my mobile. Glad I didn't. Googled the number and read the comments. Thanks everyone
These people had the audacity to make another call on the mobile telephone I never use except for a spare in case of emergency. Needless to say, I did not answer. The person or persons are guilty of the same crime that got someone arrested and taken into custody recently while his home was being searched. I think the police are now giving these people a lot of attention following so many complaints - and they have the power to act because these calls are coming from the U.K. Meanwhile vulnerable people are being exploited.
phoning up my mobile all the time, only answered once and since then they never leave me alone. it's a scam! they have rang another member of my family on this number to and he old and keeps answering it, He told me everytime he speaks to them , its something different, won I-pad, PPI, had a car crash etc do not answer them as they then know your number is active

This was 3rd time I had a call from this number (did not answer as number not recognised) - thankfully I checked it via Google and found this site. Thanks for info and number is now blocked.
Missed call and no message left. Checked here and they appear to be dodgy.
I'm not even sure who this is, but they call my mobile several times a day, and the times I've answered the call they've hung up straight away. Sadly, I don't have a new model phone so I can't block the calls, but they are extremely annoying.
Just had this number call my mobile. Didn't pick-up as it was an unknown number. Checked on here. Thanks for the warnings. Now Blocked.
Just had this number call, so as it was ringing I typed the number into google and it directed me to these comments. Thanks all, needless to say I didn't answer. The amount of these kind of calls happening is ridiculous!
This number should be closed down.
scammer block it
didn't answer call, searched number whilst it was still ringing, and got here. Now blocked
Once again the mobile telephone I keep only as a spare rang. In fact it had not rung since I got another call from the same number. Today I had only just finished dealing with two nuisance calls on my landline when I was disturbed by this call. At least I know my spare is working! I did not answer, after checking to see whether it was anybody I knew.
blank call or asks for survey
ignored
Automated "you have been selected to win £500 of high street vouchers" I hung up and have now blocked the call
I got a message alert from this number this morning with no message to read then 4 mins later got a call didnt answer and then blocked it
Caller with a sophisticated payback of 'you have won an ipad or similar, please press 1 for... ' I didn't answer the phone and Google the number and found this!
scam call. wanting call back to claim a ipad
Do not answer these calls from number 08443373963, it's a massive scam! In my place of work I get customers telling me that they had someone calling pretending to be there bank so the scammer on the other end of the phone can get their bank details and commit fraud on their accounts! Would you want that to happen to you? No, neither would I, that's why I never answer these calls until I have googled the number to find out who it belongs to and if it's legit I will call them back!
Automated message saying I've been selected to win £500 and an iPad mini... Scam. Are now blocked.
Don't answer....put on your reject list in settings.
08333373963 rang my mobile, I didn't answer. The scammer then left a voicemail message that I have also ignored.
unsolicited call I didn't answer but needed to check the caller wasn't legit. Leaving a comment here to thank you for this service. Given the implications for people temporarily needing a mobile roaming service this looks to me like a reason to ban all premium rate numbers in their current form?
I have two phones and keep the numbers very discrete from each other, got a call from this number to both of mine within 3 minutes, tried a call back from a landline with blocked outbound and got a connection failure, very suspect.
Didn't answer the call on my mobile and after checking this out online glad I didn't . Number now blocked on my mobile.
I have just come across this report from the Consumer Action Group: "Missed call scam is leaving people with big bills A sophisticated new mobile phone scam is charging customers hundreds of pounds for calls they don't make. "Victims are being hit with huge bills after being contacted by numbers beginning in 0845 or 0843. "The scam affects some people whether they answer the calls, ignore them, or call the number back. "These calls have included connections to claims management firms, and even though the call isn't answered, mobiles are still connected to the premium rate lines for up to 12 hours."
Phoned, but didn't leave a message. Strange number, as only has 10 digits, not the usual 11.
I have a spare mobile telephone I have not used for months, though I keep it active. When I get a call on it from a number like this I do not answer. That is what happened today. A few minutes later I was disturbed again when my landline rang. That, too, was a nuisance call, from the p.p.i. pests whose recorded voice keeps telling me this is their last attempt to reach me. Undoubtedly they were telling more lies. I ended the call quickly.
Scammers trying to get your personal details by saying you have won an ipad or money
Called this morning but did not answer this call as it's listed as a nuisance scam number.
0844 337 3963 Nuisance scam call number Dont call them or you will be charged an extortionate fee Block this number on your mobile
An automated message telling me I had been selected to win either £500 in gift vouchers or an iPad. That's as far as I let it go.
I looked on the website and they rated this number a 9️⃣! They called me but when I called back at different times on different days, it went to call ended or it didn't ring!
