Just seen my bill and have been charged £1.24 access and £5.50 for an 11 minute call to Studio. Absolute joke. I was trying to place an order and my online account was blocked so I had no choice but to call them. Can't believe it!

I only called "Studio" cards, as the online ordering is conveniently STILL stopping orders being placed using the website (the continue opetion after selecting payment option DOES NOT WORK. STUDIO website claims they only charge 13p/min and average call is 68p (maybe so IF you aren't kept ON HOLD for almost 7 mins - I didn't wait any longer just to be billed up to the eyeballs to place a phone because the website is deliberately blocked from working!). Now my mobile provider is transparent in that it charges 25p access charge, plus 25p/min for calls to 087 numbers, and my £10 safety buffer was DEPLETED waiting a ridiculous 6min 35s ON HOLD @ Studio! By my rckoning the 6min 35s call should have cost no more than £3.15 mobile charges + and 78.8p @ Studio (less than £4 in total). So it seems Studio are not being truthful about what they charge. On top of that, I have NOTHING to show for it! So I'll take my £125 Xmas order to B&M Bargains and Home Bargains, they sell the same stuff.

Wow just found out who ive called what a rip off to just order a £9.99 item i wás charged £6 for the order and £5 delivery im disguted at their treatment of customers dont be scammed by their cheap prices as this is how they make their profit also they make sure the website plays up hence why you end up calling disgrace x74

Has to call studio cards as their website was playing up. Little did I know I’d fallen into a cost trap. So i got stung by their 55p per minute charge too. I wondered why it took so long (over 8 mins) to place a simple order. Now I know why - they were stalling me to rack up their charges.
