They called and asked for me to confirm my date of birth and email - I stated that I was uncomfortable giving that information over the phone and the man laughed and attempted to assure me that it wasn’t a scam. In this day and age with so many scams happening, I'm actually shocked at the attitude given from someone wanting to be careful to protect their personal information and data. I proceeded hang up and blocked numbers (they’ve called more than once since the initial call)

Call just came in from this number 1.43pm, 19/09/2023, it looked familiar and said Hello, silence, then it rang through to another number! It seemed a bit suspicious therefore I hung up. Came to ie.tellows.net and was glad to see the warning by Christian Anton above. Glad I trusted my gut feeling. Many thanks.

Caller said that he was from Vofafone, aggressive advertising. When I asked him to send his offer by post he said he was unable so I hung up and googled the number and found this site.

Missed call yesterday when on leave. Answered it today. Asked to conform that they were speaking to me and then hung up. Rang Vodaphone on 1907 and they confirmed it was not them and was most likely a scam. Number blocked.

Caller rang claiming to be Vodafone (might well be) but they aggressively cold call you every day if you answer once. I advise adding them to your contacts and then blocking the caller.

Contrary to what many are saying here, this is a legitimate Vodafone number which can also be found on their website. You can simply answer and request they remove you from their call list. Haven't been called back since.

Called and instantly asked for me to confirm my surname. I refused, they sent a text but that did not convince me, then they hung up. Contacted Vodafone myself and they confirmed it was from their sales team, so I asked them to put me on their do not contact list.
