27Pretends to be vodafone, seeking account number & bank
Block the number if u get a call this is just a scam..
Guy called and asked for my dob. Said I don't give it out on unsolicited calls. Sent me a text message supposed to be from Vodafone.
I asked a question about data speed while roaming on vodafone.ie's website. I did this through their chat bot. I got my answer and moved on. Shortly after I got a call from this number. It was an Indian guy claiming to be from vodafone. He knew I had asked about data speed when roaming. I said, "ok I got my answer no problem. If I have any issues I'll contact again." He said sounds good no problem then asked when I last topped up and what my balance was. This was weird so I said, "... can't you see that?" He said yeah but I just want to confirm. He couldn't do anything with this information so I told him it was a few days ago so my balance is 0. I said I don't need any more help and he then asked for my email address. I hung up immediately as this smelled fishy. After I hung up, I had a SMS from vodafone (same number that texts me about my regular top-up) saying I need to top up. And another that was clearly from this man, saying we tried to call you, if you need us call again. There were spelling mistakes in this text. So, my best guess is there are some hacker/scammers hacked into vodafone's chatbot, which they are then using to do a social engineering hack on customers. They're so in vodafone's systems they can text from them too. Lastly, clearly he was conditioning me to answer more and more questions, eventually wanting me to give him payment details which would have paired nicely with the text from the actual vodafone number.
2nd time calling. 1st time I had an ongoing Vodafone issue so stupidly confirmed personal details as was expecting a call. Kicking myself now. 2nd time he called I said I recognise your voice from the other day. He said it was a coincidence. I didn't confirm any details this time and we ended the call mutually. He is very abrupt. Almost AI like voice tone and pitch. Strange.
Called in saying they are from Vodafone Complaints team and asked to many verification questions (full name, address, date of birth, email address). Didn't give them anything, and as I had a new call incoming, J disconnected
I asked the Vodafone online chat a few days ago if they use the same network as Sky because I was curious on switching and wanted to know how long it would take, and since then this number spammed me 4 times. I finally answered and a foreign guy was asking if I wanted to sign up on their broadband, but he had a weird tone and took a while to get to the point. I'm guessing this is actually from Vodafone since he knew I'd done the chat but it's not doing them any favours spamming me with calls, if I wanted to sign up right away I'm capable of doing so myself. Put me off switching now if they're so pushy
100% scam - link attached.
They called and asked for me to confirm my date of birth and email - I stated that I was uncomfortable giving that information over the phone and the man laughed and attempted to assure me that it wasn’t a scam. In this day and age with so many scams happening, I'm actually shocked at the attitude given from someone wanting to be careful to protect their personal information and data. I proceeded hang up and blocked numbers (they’ve called more than once since the initial call)
They call me regularly, sometimes I answer and theres noone there. Blocked them today finally.

Vodafone scam Sales call fue reportado como Acoso telefónico con el número +3531-2037800
Looking for too much info about me
Scam sales team call . Do not trust report to Vodafone complaints . Warning do not trust them or give them any details
Why am i getting a call from vodafone when i am not even a customer with them
I received a call from this number daily and I repeatedly asked them to stop and asked in writing too. Now instead of one call daily, I receive at least three. Unbelievably annoying and very unprofessional.
I'm using an app called True Caller, it notified me the call was spam so I just ignored the call then added to my block list. We're winning the war against these sh1theads one number at a time
2 JAN 2015 - 17:33 missed
started receiving these calls before christmas so started a spamming campaign against vodafone via their customer care service. every time i receive a call from this number, i send an email of complaint to their customer support. i ll keep you informed of my progression.
Wish they'd stop calling me, finished nights and got to bed at 8:30. Awoken at 11:45 with this nuisance call. Serves me right for not having my phone on silent.
My experience of this number is annoying repeated calls which are people from vodafone trying to sell you Sh1t
I called back and they say that the call was from Vodafone and there is no need from me to call back, I will be contacted in a few days. However when my mobile wrang and I answered, the call was terminated quickly by them which made me suspicious. Made me feel like they are checking on me.
